  1. Okay, you all convinced me. I just ordered a black pair of Crocs Endeavor. (the ones without the holes on top) They pretty much just look like a black pair of clogs. I can live with that! :) Besides, what is there to lose? If I hate them they have free returns! I'm going to try to think positive though!! Thanks to everyone for their input! :)
  2. Thanks for the info guys! I thought there MUST be something behind them! Heck, maybe I'll try some...sometime..lol
  3. Okay. I have to ask. Are the crocs like SUPER comfy or what? Everyone seems to love them, but I just can't get past their looks. Is it just me?
  4. I'm so glad I'm not the only one! All my friends say I'm nuts, but I started December 26th! I ordered a couple of the lights. It looks like the games are probably for older kids. (at least older than mine)
  5. I managed to get a few deals at my closest (50 minutes away) Target tonight. All the Christmas stuff was marked 75% and a lot of toys were 50% off. Of course, the bath sets for kids I had wanted weren't hardly marked down at all. They were $4.24!(reg. $4.99) How lame is that?!?!?!! They had tons though, so I'm hoping they go down soon. I did find a cute compact mirror that was regularly $9.99 marked down to $1.74. It'll make a great stocking stuffer for my 17 year old niece this coming year! :)
  6. I got a few good deals here today. I saw the table, but here it was regularly 39.99 with 50%off. We have been looking for a table for our boys, but this just didn't seem sturdy enough. (keep in mind they are 2!)
  7. I went to Staples today too and bought my limit of just about everything that was on sale! :)
  8. Thanks for the heads up. I ordered a t-shirt and 2 pairs of satin pajama pants for $25.60 including shipping and tax. I'm pretty happy with that. Especially since I had a gift card that had $27.62 left on it! :)
  9. I looked for this at our Wal-mart last night but didn't have any luck finding it. I did find an Elmo T.M.X. though. It was the only one they had. At least it wasn't a wasted trip :)
  10. Thanks asilenceblossom! I ordered 4 cd baskets and the cd wallet. Great deal :)
  11. I went in for one $3 bottle of gel yesterday and spent over $70! Ouch...I really didn't mean too!! Oh well, I bought a lot of cheap basket fillers/stocking stuffers for the coming year.
  12. We have the calphalon stuff also and we love it. We probably will never buy anything else! (partially because my husbands have a friend whose son works with calphalon and can get us a deal! yeah!)
  13. That's so cute! I know I'll regret saying it next year, but I can't wait till that age!
  14. Okay, maybe I'm just mean. I don't like our UPS driver, so no...I don't feel bad.
  15. My husband is going out to do his shopping tonight. I hope he can manage to get everything done! I don't know why he feels compelled to wait till a few days before Christmas EVERY year!! I still have all the wrapping to do. The mountains of presents is completely overwhelming to me this year! I just don't know where to start! And to think I told my husband back in June that I was done shopping for everyone and was SO proud of myself for not going overboard! HA!!!! Six months later, now it's a different story! How could I resist the deals?
  16. I got mine yesterday. They work great for the kids toys, EXCEPT I hate that the lids don't stay up. I'm afraid the kids might get their fingers smashed.
  17. Thank you for sharing that with us. That is SO awesome to know there are still people out there like that. I'm sure being a college student she could have used the money herself, which makes it even more impressive. And let's not forget about the customer! That was great of him also!!
  18. I like the cookbook idea too. Maybe you could just get a small basket and put the cookbook in it with a few kitchen utensils or kitchen towels or something. They make tins in all sizes. You could stick the tickets in one of those and stick that in the basket too. I'm sure no matter what you do she will love it!! :)
  19. I got that email too, but wasn't too sure about it. I'll give it a try now, since others have :) Thanks!
  20. I like Big Lots. You can always find some great stocking stuffers there if you look long enough :)
  21. What about an electric fondue pot? Those are fun :) and the whole family can use it together. You could also get them a gift card to a local grocery store so they can go pick up some marshmallows, chocolates, etc to use with it. Maybe you could even include a fondue recipe book.
  22. A couple years ago I made my husbands grandmother one of those no-sew fleece blankets. She loved it. She was always cold so she was able to use it a lot and she had really appreciated the fact that I had put the thought into picking out a special design for her and then making it. They really don't take any time at all to do.
  23. It's so thoughtful that you do this. I'm sure anything you choose would be appreciated. All of the ideas above are great. The idea about tins of mints would be a quick, easy, inexpensive thing to do and you really wouldn't even have to wrap it! I hope your customers are as thoughtful as you are!
