  1. I'm really happy about the free shipping. I've been eyeing a jade ring they've had on clearance for almost a year. They've not lowered the price one time since I've been watching it, so the free shipping will have to do! I also ordered the coral necklace they had on clearance. I'm a happy girl Hubby probably won't be too happy, but tough!
  2. Great! I didn't even notice that on the site and I didn't sign up for emails. I'm on my way to do that now. Thanks :)
  3. That sounds weird! If it hadn't been charged yet then why couldn't they leave it at that?!? I'm glad you got a nicer rep. this time. It's such a pain when things like this happen!!!
  4. Thanks for this site! :) I ordered a catalog. They do have a pretty good selection of things for good prices!
  5. Actually, I did check out JTV last night because they were having a free shipping day. I ordered a wooden box that has several tools and a loop in it and 20 or 25 ctw in faceted gemstones and 100ctw in cabachons. It was pretty reasonable because I had an additional 10% off code too :) I only ordered the one though because I haven't had any experience with them. Then, earlier today I did win a few things on ebay. (a small lot of mixed stones and then a .85ct amethyst) It's kind of bizarre that I ordered from those places and then you mentioned them, but that makes me feel more confident in my purchases!!! :)
  6. Darn! I was JUST at that store on Sunday! Of course, my hubby was with me so I don't spend as much time hunting as I do when I'm alone. Oh well, I'm sure the others will be marking theirs down too if it's not already.
  7. I think that would be lots of fun, but I don't think we have any near us. We're in Ohio. I'll have to do a little research and see where the closest place might be. Thanks :)
  8. Does anyone have any idea where I can find loose gemstones that aren't crazy expensive? I have seen lots of neat rings at antique shows and flea markets that need stones in them and I think this might be kind of fun to start buying.
  9. I live in Bellefontaine, but the Targets I usually hit are over in the Columbus area. I try to get over there once a week, so I'd be happy to keep an eye out for things for you!
  10. Which Target were you at that had all the auto cleaning stuff 50%? That's the kind of stuff I like to put in my nephews stocking :) I'm heading over towards Columbus tomorrow.
  11. For the summer time I just took some of the really light sleepers that zip and were getting too short anyway and I cut off the long sleeves and cut the feet out. Then I put the shirt over that. Our house is comfortable, so he never got too hot. My mom always thought I was nuts, but that was the ONLY way I could keep that child in his clothes!
  12. Has anyone used this site before? If you don't want to post on here you can just pm me if you'd rather. I had started to place an order the other day and then backed out. I have received a couple emails from them and they're trying pretty hard to get my business. (I replied to one of the emails and the deal got better..lol) I just want to know if they are legit. Thanks!!
  13. I had this same problem with one of my boys. I always stuck him in zipper pjs (front ones) and then put a button down shirt over top of that. He couldn't work the buttons, so that worked for quite a long time. Just make sure that the button up shirt you put on him is big enough to still be comfortable over the pjs.
  14. I haven't had the choxie chipolte chocolate, but I love that mix! At first I thought I wouldn't, but now that I tried it, it's one of my favorites. At Christmas I melted some chocolate and poured it over little piles of chipolte peanuts. Anyway....I'll have to print that coupon and try this!
  15. I found this site too. It's adam and eve still, just a limited selection. But if you only want, umm...certain things, then this may get you a better deal because you can get free standard shipping on orders of $29 or more or free 2 day shipping with orders of $49 or more. http://www.adamevetoys.com/?sc=SEMGGL&cm_mmc=GGL-_-Adam%20Eve%20Toys-_-Adam%20%26%20Eve-_-.com%20adameve heatherkw...are you looking for just general ideas? Or ideas from these sites?
  16. I couldn't find anything I liked that was under $100 And OMG! Did you see the prices on the purses?!?!?!?! Maybe I'm just cheap, but I'll stick to my Target clearance deals!!! I don't buy shoes for my kids online because I like to take them to Stride Rite where I can have them measured. I'm just weird like that I guess. So..this wasn't a great deal for me, but it sounds like it will be for some of you! :)
  17. OMG! I always wondered if those infomercial "deals" were too good to be true!!!
  18. I finally made it to Target yesterday. I didn't find any spectacular deals, but I did buy a few things. I got a couple pair of gloves marked down to $3.74 (they were 75% off), I got 2 wallets for $2.74 (they were also 75%), a few cars for my boys for around $1.38 (these were only 30% off, but they were already cheap so I got them anyway) and a nut roaster pan that was $6.xx (also 75% off). The last thing I got was a bag of target brand baby wipes for $2.41. That was 50% off the regular price, but confused me a little at first. The bag had been ripped some and taped back together and the red tag said "as is, missing 1 of 4". Okay, fine. Still a good deal, right? Well, they totally screwed that up. It said right on the front of the bag that it contains 3-80 count packages. It had 3 in it. It was a FULL bag! Just had to be taped shut. I can live with a ripped bag if it gets me 50% off! I'm just going to rip them open myself later anyway! :)
  19. My mom is addicted to QVC. It works out great for me because she always buys me stuff She has bought me a lot of really nice jewelry from them. Some of it cost more than what it really should have, but they were relatively unique pieces that you couldn't just walk into the store and find. My mom orders clothes from them, scrapbooking/card making supplies for me, gadgets for the guys, even meat !!! (she's bought some great hamburgers from Omaha Steaks and some of the Nathan's hot dog stuff) I personally only shop QVC a few times a year. I only turn it on if I'm really bored because I have an extrememly addictive personality when it comes to shopping, so I have to be careful! I always like to see what kind of neat gadgets they have for stocking stuffers and stuff though. Like someone else said above, just be informed. Know your stuff and what it would cost you somewhere else. (if you can find it somewhere else)
  20. I like this scent. They had trial sizes for $1 when they were having the big sale. It's a bit sweet, but nice. It's different.
  21. I went to K-mart yesterday finally and found some great deals too. I got a bunch of place mats for .09, a light tester for .39 (reg $3.99) and a Martha Stewart table cloth for $1.69. (reg. $17)I picked up a jewelry box for $5.xx (reg. $21.95) and a 4 pack of mini perfumes for $3.99 (reg. $10). I got a pair of shorts for my hubby for $1.50 (reg. $16) and then some toys to put back for next year. I got 2 of the doodle monsters for $10 each (reg. $25) and one of those Quizzard Dogs for $13(reg. $45) I spent a little over $60 total. I was really happy :)
  22. I talked my husband into going to Target with me last night. It had been awhile since I had gone and really needed to do some clearance shopping!!! :) I didn't find any great bargains, but I walked out with 3 bags for $45. That's not bad. I found a really cute purse for $8.xx. It was only 50%, but it's the only one they had left. I got a hat/glove/scarf set for my neice for next year for $4.95 ($19.95) and I got a couple pairs of mittens for around $2. I got my mom some flannel pj's for 50% off. (again, the only one they had left, so I figured I'd better get it) I got some candles marked 75% off too. I can't remember what else. Now, I really want to hit another Target!!! (or 2 or 3) Maybe I'll do that this weekend! :)
  23. Wow! Milk was $4.03 and $3? Ouch.
