Got my shirt about a week ago, just ran to check pouches after reading posts, no gift card (boohoo). Can't wait to wear my shirt proudly.

With all of the online shopping, I was able to get a lot of things I wanted. Then I just went to the physical stores to "enjoy" the black Friday excitement!

I'm an android girl, so if I win prize 1 or 3, I'll trade the winner of number 2 or 4! Lol.

But if we win one in another contest we won't get this one?

Checking in for September. Brad, I did send my info. Can't wait to see t-shirts. This has been so much fun. Have to tell you all about my latest crazy activity. I held a Sharknado-thon for my family. We watched all 6 Sharknado movies, one after the other, starting Friday night until Saturday morning. We had food, drinks, desserts, snacks, etc. I decorated with a lot of shark themed things, had shark plates, napkins, etc. Started with 21 folks, only 4 survived the entire night! It was so much fun. We started the movies at 8pm and were done at 6am! We are thinking of doing Jurassic Park/world next.

I had the mono vision done. Lasted about 15 years...no glasses for reading. Now I am 52 and my near vision is starting to fade, can still see great far away. They usually can tell if you can handle the mono right away. They put you in fake glasses and have you read near and far quickly after each other a few times. If you get nausea or a headache you are not a good candidate for the mono. I am trying to figure out what to do next. I really don't want to wear glasses or contacts for anything, such a pain in the rear, so freeing not having to deal with either. After 15 years I am spoiled. When I got it done I was working and had a medical reimbursement plan where I had put money in and could use for the procedure, it was about $2500. Could have gotten it cheaper, but I didn't like the dr that offered the lower price. Now I'd have to pay for it out of pocket and the dr that did mine the first time doesn't do surgeries any more, he went into research.

Checking in for August! Back to school tomorrow, YEAH! It's hot as heck here. I think it was 105 today, probably about the same tomorrow. I think I am melting, lol. My son needed a new phone, I was going to go to Sam's like HanShotFirst. I figured I would never get there early enough to get one of the 2 or 3 they probably had available. I ended up just getting it online with $100 instead of $200. Besides, I got his several days before the one day sale, I didn't want to wait and then end up not getting one. His processor or something actually died. He could not do anything related to phone service (make calls, texts, receive calls), he could only send and receive apple messages over wifi. Didn't want to make him suffer any more than he already had. I have actually upgraded on black friday twice. Walmart was ridiculous took about 45 minutes (and I was even 1st in line and had an appointment), Target however took a whole 10 minutes and I was out of there, gift card and all. Only a few months to go until BF....can't wait, although I cannot think of a thing that I will need to purchase. I am looking at building a custom home which will take about a year, so maybe BF 2019 I will have plenty of stuff to look for. Well, everyone stay cool....until next month.

OK, it's July 4th. Too early to see any fireworks just yet. I will be 52 on Sunday. We have an excessive heat warning for Friday through Sunday. Still haven't found my dream home, but haven't given up hope. I like the fanny pack idea, not the water bottle or cup, because then you have to carry it and I don't have any more hands. I also don't do bumper stickers (I am leasing). School starts on August 8th, which is way too early. Just working around the house today and thought I would stop and post.

Well, yes it is June! School let out on the 31st. Starts back up in August. I can't believe how they have shifted the year around. Used to be you got out in June and went back after labor day. Movie day was great. Saw Show Dogs, Breaking In, Rampage and I Feel Pretty. My favorites were Rampage (even though totally unbelievable) and I Feel Pretty (good message about inner beauty being more important than physical beauty). We left the house at about 8:40am and got home about 10pm. A lot going on in June. Weather is finally starting to look better. We've been having cold and hot intermittently, I just hope the weather has made up it's mind. Well, we are one month closer. Sorry about those that forgot to post. OK, don't know how my reminder got away from me, but glad I realized I hadn't posted yet! Trying to plan movie day for memorial day. My daughters and my granddaughter and I go see about 4 movies in one day. We have breakfast before and dinner after. We usually do it on a holiday when not that many folks go to the movies. It's a lot of fun. But it takes planning so you can schedule the movies and not overlap. Then my 26th anniversary is on June 6th. trying to make plans for that as well. 5 or 6 months to go, then we will be special t-shirt recipients. Everybody keep going, let's all make it through the months!

So before the month of April passes by, I am here to post. The weather can't seem to make up its mind. Cold one day, hot the next.Just got back from a woman caregiver's retreat in the mountains, same thing..cold Friday, warm Saturday and Sunday. I used to be a MICHE handbag rep, still have inventory, so got my online store up and running.that took quite a while. Well, my daughter and I started a diet plan. We have both lost about 15 pounds. Other than that, the tax changes that were supposed to "save most people money" cost me $2200! What happened to winter? It's been in the high 70's and 80's. Been recovering from my sprained ankle. Trying to get back in the swing of things. Checking in for January! It's been rather warm for January. I started the new year off right by falling on my front porch and spraining my ankle. Now I'm in a boot and on crutches. To top it off it's my right ankle, so i can't drive! I hope this is not an indicator of how my 2018 is going to be

Ok, here's my December post. This was the first black Friday we didn't go to Walmart. It was really different. Not as fun as usual. Missed the "crazy". I did a lot of shopping online. Then I just ran around for odds and ends. Then ups lost my packages from best buy that took me 2 hours to order with the crashing website! They delivered them to the wrong address (thank goodness we have cameras). Then they just showed up one day.
