my main weapon this year is gift cards and points savings!!! I managed to amass $415 in target giftcards, several hundred from costco (when I bought my car) and over $200 from shopping rebate points (ibotta, checkout 51, etc.). I was also able to get 2 of the black friday deals on cell phones already which added another $300 in target giftcards! Used giftcards to buy one of my bigger items already on sale at target. Working out great so far. I also have paypal credit which would give me 6 months to pay for any large ticket items purchased online.

I got my t-shirt several days ago. I love it. Can't wait to wear it out shopping.

I am already shopping online. Have gotten my major items without waiting and fighting in line. Will have less to worry about at the stores. Still have to go to the store for some excitement. Might also wait in line for some free gift cards.

I got a phone last year. You get in line before 6pm to sign up for a timeslot to get a phone. The timeslots begin at 8pm after all the excitement dies down. I was pretty disappointed with the Kmart ad. Didn't really see anything I needed or wanted. Sears had some nice appliance deals, only I'm not looking for any appliances right now. I was looking for pnuematic tools but didn't see any of those either.

Back in the day, my sister and I would get in line about 3am in the freezing cold for the 6am opening. Nowadays, I go to the 24 hour walmart about 3 - 4 hours earlier than the sale is supposed to start. Inside, out of the cold. Two years ago when I got a tv for my bedroom, I was the first one in line! We also take the time to scope out where the items we want are.

Maybe they meant it will return to Friday (instead of Thursday) ???

I saw a few things in the target ad. Target is usually down my list, but I have over $400 in gift cards that I want to use. I see they have the $300 in gift cards with a new Samsung note (which my son wants-win/win deal since he pays for phone and I get 1/2 of the gift cards), also they have my daughter's just dance 2018 for $25, amazon fire hd 10" tablets for $100 (i need 3 tablets)....the majority of my list covered by my gift cards!!! If they add a few items before then that I like, that will work too. Not to mention, I have a red card. You even get 5% off of the cell phone tax if you use it! Unfortunately, I cannot use the red card and the gift cards at the same time!
