1. Approximately how many years have you been shopping on Black Friday? My sister and I have been doing Black Friday for at least 15 years now. 2. Do you plan to spend more, less or the same amount of money during Black Friday week this year? I will probably spend less this year, there just isn't a lot of stuff that I need. 3. Do you plan on shopping online during Black Friday week this year? Yes, we will probably do more online shopping and spend less time in the field. 4. How many people do you plan on shopping with on Black Friday this year? Just me and my sister, as usual. We've tried to take others, but it usually doesn't end up so well. They think we are crazy. 5. If you could make stores change one thing about Black Friday besides opening times, what would it be? Make the sales for something we really need. I can only buy so many pajamas and TV's.

Those looking for the 4K, or UltraHD did you see the Dell home ad? They will have the 60" for $799 with free shipping. Looked like a good deal.

#1 - How are we supposed to get any sleep when people keep peeking in our tent? Haven't they ever seen Black Friday shoppers before? #2 - I don't know how I'm going to fit them in the car. I'll figure that out later. #3 - They've breached the perimeter, call security!

I have save all of my walmart savings catcher $$ for this black Friday. Up to about $90 or $100. Every little bit helps!

I can't believe we are almost there again. Where has the year gone? Checking out all of the postings to catch up on things. Hope I win a t-shirt or a tablet this year!

:loli:OK, I am replying. Since the first ad is already out, no need to guess a date, but I sure would like to win one of the random drawings for the t-shirts. Nice design. A lot different from past designs.

Come on folks, I just ordered my t-shirt and a big one for my husband. He won't be going shopping, but he will wear the t-shirt. He loves bright colors, so I got him orange. I was # 26 & 27. We've got 23 to go.

My sister and I found the gottadeal.com website several years back. We have anxiously awaited the ads every year since. My friends love to hear my stories about the ads coming out, the annual walmart attorney letter, and the great t-shirts, that I have even had the privilege to win one time. I love the forums and have even watched some of the live broadcasts. I think gottadeal.com is the best Black Friday website out there.

What happened to all those folks who wanted hoodies? I plan on ordering at least one, two if I don't win one. Since they have the bigger sizes I will be ordering one for my hubby. I am going to take a picture to work. Everyone loves my t-shirts. Maybe some of them will order one.

I just have to echo that my worst one is when people bring the young children. I don't know if they have been watching the news lately, but there are a lot of CRAZY people out there and most of them come out on Black Friday. There is the chance that children will get injured or worse! While you are concentrating on grabbing that door buster, someone may be concentrating on grabbing your child. Not to mention the poor things having to stay up hours past their bed times and then get yelled at for being tired! Just leave the kiddies at home.

I don't know if I have anything original to add after reading all of these great posts. I have to concur with wearing a waist bag, taking someone with you, having your cell phone, carrying store ads as well as having whatever electronic lists available and taking the time to stop in between stores if necessary to eat so you don't pass out. My favorite thing to do has been this: most years we go to walmart first. Usually they are open so much earlier and we may not have anything to go to after for quite a while, especially when we are able to price match. After the first five minute rush and we get everything on our list that we can, we make a sweep of the store to look for additional items. I don't know if people get tired of waiting in line, they have to rush off to another store or they just don't have enough money for all of the items they grabbed in the heat of the moment, but we find shopping carts of door busters left all over throughout the store. My sister and I walk around checking out the contents of these abandoned carts and can usually find anything that we were unable to grab during the chaos of the door busters. It works every time. And my biggest tip of all times.... HAVE FUN! Don't take it too seriously if you don't get your door buster.

I have another one, one year at walmart while waiting next to a pallet for the official unveiling...another lady and I started talking to some guys on the other side of the pallet (I think they were video games and accessories) we agreed to hand over the games on our side if they would hand over some from their side so we could all get all of the games. Worked like a charm. When they unwrapped the pallets we started handing items back and forth and moving down the row. Cleared several pallets that way and we were all able to get everything we wanted.

One year, before we got a 24hour walmart, we were in line outside with our hot chocolate. A man actually started fighting with a pregnant woman (I think he was cutting). The police came and took him away. Another year we were in line by the electronics, a woman totally passed out on the floor. We all had to clear away until they got her out of there. One year my 17 year old son went with my sister and I (it was his first time). He was supposed to stand by something and wait for it to be opened and grab us some while we were getting something else. After the initial commotion, he came to where we were with nothing but a dazed look on his face. We asked him what happened, where was our stuff? He said it was total chaos, old people were pushing him out of the way. He didn't want to push in and get the items. Needless to say, he never went with us again. One year after our initial round of shopping, we stopped at Denny's for something to eat. A couple of women said they had seen my sister and I in walmart and they LOVED my gottadeal.com t-shirt!

I usually keep a list during the year of things I would like to have, but don't necessarily need. Then I whip it out and look for deals during black Friday.

I like the bigger sizes. I think I will get my husband one, although he says he is not crazy enough to go shopping with me.
