I was just in Big Lots today and got some garland. What I like is that they have some really good BF deals and some neat freebies, too.

I have never seen it but if it is like a trivia game, I'm like you, we have seen every Disney movie and cartoon ever made. We have most of them on video and dvd so we have seen those about 100 times each.

Thanks Jill, that will help me alot since we do not have a TRU. Especially since I don't want to travel.

I got a really good deal on a vacuum cleaner last year and a sewing machine the year before. I look for things like that as well as all of my gifts because I get them way cheaper on BF.

Now that will be nice. I am not thinking I am going to buy a 360 this year at all. My oldest son is the only one who would really enjoy it and he would rather have a laptop for college next year. The younger 2 boys are wanting all of the new Batman toys so I hope someone has a good deal on them.

If they have good enough deals and enough of them I might go there and just go to the WalMart in the town where the TRU is. But I really don't like to do all of that driving, considering, our WalMart and our shopping center is right down the road from my house.

I hope it's something that I'm looking for, or if it's a good enough deal it really don't have to be on my list. I'll get it and give as one of those "at the last minute, I need a gift" things. lol

I don't like the cutters who just walk up and act like they deserve to be first in line and try to get an attitude if someone says something about it. They are usually the ones I end up arguing with. Last year a man came up to me and my mom since we were third in line to check out at WalMart, he had a uniform on and asked could he please get in front of us because he was going to be late for work but he just had to come and get his little girl the Bratz doll that was on sale. He offered to pay us, but we let him cut because he was so nice about it and we considered it our good deed for the day. lol If someone is really needing to cut, like an elderly person or a pregnant lady, I wouldn't think twice about letting them.

I know the feeling, my hubby sees no sense why I go out on BF. But, he sure likes the good deals I get, lol. I don't think it would be nearly as much fun. My mom and I make it a "girls day".

My kids experiment with the sandwich maker. They have created all kinds of weird things. lol It's made up for the chopper we will probably never use. I ended up getting an 8 cup Black and Decker chopper later on and I love it!!!

Those Nintendogs sound like something my girls would like especially pink.

Amen to that!!! For those of us shopping for toys, it looks like it could be a good year.

Hope to find a decent sized t.v. at a good price, maybe a laptop for my son who will be leaving for college soon, and hopefully some goodies for me, too. lol

Hi Yumi!!! Welcome, fellow Texan here. I am in Paris. I think you guys get busy pretty early there. We start at 3:00 about the same for you. I do remember seeing on the local Dallas news last year that most stores had lines starting at about 3 or 4 am. Good luck and glad to have you here.

Me, too, Pamlet. I bought a fanny bag a couple of years ago to take to the casino. It is perfect for BF. No purse to keep up with and everything I need fits right inside.

I have never used that chopper. lol Too embarrassed to bring it out. The elecric knife is great and so was the sandwich maker. My kids have been using it every weekend since I got it in 2003. They love it. Of course it has been through a lot. lol Last year I got the girls a couple of those hair dryers WalMart had and they like them, too. I got tired of going to their room to get mine. lol:yelclap:

I usually start getting excited with the first blast of cool air we get. lol I am not sure how to control it, but, hubby and kids love it. They say I am in a good mood from Oct. 1st til Jan. 1st. lol

The best thing I ever bought on BF, well 2 things, was a bracelet from Belk that I paid $16.00 for( reg. 99.99), and a 35mm camera a few years ago from JCPenney for $7.00. It turned out to be the best camera I ever owned. The bracelet is my favorite and I wear it everywhere.

I always shower the night before and lay out my clothes. No make up, sweats, light weight jacket(easy to carry if it gets warm in the stores), brush hair, throw on some tennis shoes, and head out the door. lol I do get a cute holiday shirt every year just for BF. That's just a little something that helps get me in the spirit.

Every year I buy which ever stereo WalMart has on BF. We now have one in almost every room but with 5 kids, they listen to alot of music. lol They are all still working great. We just put the VCR we bought at WalMart down to rest(RIP) this past summer and we've had it about 8 years. And it has been through alot. lol

I look for toys, kids clothes, kitchen gadgets, decorations, vacuum cleaners, and things I can use all year, just get cheaper on BF.

Since we don't have many stores in our town, I just use price matching for everyday stuff. If we had a BB, TRU, or CC, I might then. If it is an item that I know Wal-Mart has and we have that store, I go the day before and make sure it's the same one. No, I don't waste precious time on BF. lol

At our Wal-Mart, the early bird, 6am-11am, specials are mostly on pallets. But some of them are just stacked up in the aisles. However there are still a few items that they keep in the back until 6am. I think that's a bad idea. Our Wal-Mart is open 24 hrs. and a lot of people get there early. Me at 3:00. lol They only had 13 GameCubes 2 years ago. Instead of brining them out and using the first come first serve basis, they kept them in the back, brought them out at 6am and about 100 people were waiting for 13 games. Then the fights broke out. Luckily while two fights were happening around me, I ducked down low and got one. lol I won't fight for a game, but I will sneak in for the kill. lol:gd_shake:

Welcome! I have only been here a few days myself, but I am an old pro at BF shopping! lol This is a wonderful site and now I know that I am not the only crazy person out here!!! And I mean that in the best sense of the word. lol
