The Neiman Marcus stuff was STICKERED at 70% off today at the store I went to. Guess that means it's the end of the markdown for that stuff.??

I think that Sarasuzymama means that people who buy a cmas item at 50% and then go in when it hits 70% to try and get the difference refunded to them. Not many have luck with doing that. But yes, in both Missouri and Kansas stores (at least around the Kansas City area) you DO get back what you pay for your holiday item no matter whether you bought it full price and return it when it's 70% off. Price adjustments are generally kind of hard to get, although I have had some nice customer service people do it for me during toy clearance a few years back. There seemed to be some exceptions with Halloween costumes this year though. Signs were up telling shoppers all costumes had to be returned by Oct. 31. I hadn't ever seen that before.

Watch closely toward the end of each month... not necessarily every month, but close. sometimes it's an extra 30%; sometimes an extra 40%. I believe that New Year's Day is the only extra 50% day though.

At the stores I visit, it appears that the Neiman Marcus team up has been a bit of a fail. I imagine there will be plenty left over (here anyway). Ours has been at 50% off all week, and there is still a lot left. This is a store that sits in a pretty high income bracket area too.

So quiet here these days on the clearance forum... don't give up hope on the end caps though! I ran in today to do a return and found a bumper for the Nabi tablet that we are giving our 7 year old for cmas. The tablet comes with a red one already on it, but our daughter loves pink or purple. Someone just happened to return one from online (cause they aren't sold in stores) and Target priced it at $7.56 and it just happened to be PINK. They are $29.99 EVERYWHERE. I can't find them marked down AT ALL, and I can't even find them IN any stores (Walmart, Best Buy, Radio Shack). I was very happy considering I had no intention of paying $30 for something JUST to get it in a better color!

Also, found this for 1/2 price... combo Smurfs movie and Smurfs DS game. Since I was just in Monday, the end cap had a ton more stuff on it in the electronics dept. Makes me wonder if they are getting stuff shipped in or what??

Yes, I think this was a very random thing. Over the past few weeks, I've only ever saw the pink DSi XLs at 15% off... didn't even see those make it to 30%. I'd NEVER seen a blue one with the Donkey Kong game in it. Must have been a return or something. I think that nintendo must be replacing the regular DSi XLs with 3D XL units maybe? The one I bought is sealed up tight and looks to have never been opened, but I think I'll open it to make sure. I don't need any crappy surprises! On another clearance note, I happened by a Nabi that was an online return today (ST Blue Valley Pkwy). It was marked to $139.99. Still not as good of a deal on the unit I got online from Best Buy Thanksgiving Day for $129, but ya never know when the end caps might have a goodie or two that came from people buying over the weekend. Sometimes they just automatically lower the prices on internet returns even if there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. I don't believe that Target carries the Nabis in store, so that is probably why? maybe?

If you mean the DSi XL, I got it at the Stanley store (151st st). It was just on the clearance end cap. I JUST returned a pink one at the sTate line super target this morning though. I don't know if they have them clearanced at the same amount. I got the pink one when it was clearanced for 15% at State Line. It just depends on whether or not that they have taken them down anymore. I would guess they have, but don't know for sure. Anyway, if pink works for you, they should probably have it back on the shelf sometime today! HTH

Here is a sort of nice deal. Little pet shop fun fairies roller coaster is still cyber Monday priced on toys r us website. Today I price matched it at target ($20.99) AND used a $5 off manufacturer coupon. So with my red card discount on top of that, it worked out to be about 1/2 price. It's on my 7 yo cmas list, so I figured that might be the best I can do before cmas. If not, I have another coupon to use if necessary.

YES. This appears to be what they did. This morning I had shipping confirmation for each gift card in separate e-mails. Looks like they are charging me for each gift card, which would be correct since they already deducted the giftcard amount from my order.... I think that's right!?

Woke up to find my shipment summary for my iTouch and, again, like the iPad, it looks like they just deducted the $40 from the order rather than ship me the giftcard (LOVE THAT!) Just got my shipping confirmation for my iPad and it appears as though if you order the iPad/$60 giftcard online, they just deduct the $60 from your order. It doesn't look like they are shipping an actual giftcard. Anyone see iTunes giftcards for more than 25% off? I know most places have a 20% discount, but one year I found them at Walmart for a 30% discount. I see Office Depot has some for about 25% off. Just wondered if someone might have seen any better deals!

got the ipad 2 deal at Best Buy AND Target (just in case). Best Buy just took the $60 off the price; Target is giving me a gift card for $60, but I also save another $20 at Target with my redcard. Not sure which one I will return yet... was wanting the iTouch 8gb deal on Target too (with the $40 giftcard)... can't find it though.

My Best Buy Nabi purchase also netted me a free shutterfly book (8x8). I did use our BB rewards number on the Nabi purchase, so I don't know if that had something to do with it. But if you bought one, you might watch your e-mail. I just got the email with the shutterfly code. Not a huge deal, but a nice bonus to an already happy moment!

I GOT ONE TOOO!!! I am so happy I don't have to go to Walmart... my husband told me that he would just give me the 80$ to save my sanity if i planned to go to walmart tomorrow night. the nabi was the ONLY thing I needed at that store. Now, I just need target to come through on my ipad and itouch and i won't have to go out at all!

OMG!! Thank you so much for posting this. I just told my husband last night that I should really go to Walmart Thanksgiving night to get this for our 6yo. We discussed in length whether going to Walmart was really worth the hassle to save $80. I needed NOTHING else there. This sale has saved me from the horrors of that store!!! Now, I just need some on line love from Target for my iPad and iTouch and I am set for electronic gifts )))

I'm looking at a Kindle Fire for our 9 year old. Wondering whether I should get the 8gb or 16gb. I'm thinking she will just use it mostly for reading, maybe some games and photos. Any advice?
