  1. Joanne Fabrics - this is when I stock up to make blankets for Project Linus (http://projectlinus.org/) - and for making Christmas jammie pants (which has become a tradition) Walmart / Target - I'll compare the two and decide which to hit first Cabelas - Lots of outdoor gear requests on lists this year... hope to find some deals!
  2. I'll take the doll if that's what they've got for 1/2 off - still a good deal.
  3. We make a list on paper then strategize how to get to each place in the most efficient manner. The last couple of years we've gone out not so much for the deals, but to watch the crazy people. What a hoot.....
  4. I'm behind the times... I'm just hoping for a collection version of the Sly Cooper games.
  5. Well I can't get the dumb thing to work (user error) ...... but it looks like this year I'll be hitting the shops in and around Lynnwood, WA
  6. Yep, there should be one at one of the big box stores and/or the various sporting goods places for under 175 with the enclosure.
  7. Not going to shop online Thursday either ... unless I'm up with insomnia. My online shopping will wait until Monday when the Cyber deals heat up

  9. Cool.... the shirt I won in the Halloween pumpkin carving contest a couple of years ago is all worn out Great for advertising BTW... had LOTS of people ask me about the site
  10. Blah.... nothing that exciting. But keeps me motivated to watch!
  11. The Generation dolls and accessories would be a great score... I'll have to drop in to check.
  12. Against. And I won't be shopping on Thursday. They are not going to have anything on that great of a sale that will make me want to take time away from my family. The sales this year are going to have to be better than last year to even get me out the door on Friday... seriously, the things I wanted were available on Cyber Monday from the comfort of my couch and jammies - or at other sales which didn't require me being outside and freezing while waiting for a store to open.
  13. NOT loving it. NOT going to be shopping before Friday. Period. I have not seen one deal out there that would even remotely tempt me away from spending time with my family. We're doing our usual Thanksgiving traditions - a big family meal and a movie marathon at home. If there are deals on Friday, well great. If not ... too bad for the retailers - I'll be keeping my money.
  14. I went to walmart at 520am - only because I was waiting for the Joanns next door to open... it was DEAD. The parking lot was fairly empty and there were only a few shoppers inside. I was able to stroll through, pick up a few "doorbusters" from earlier sales and leave in under ten minutes. Weird. WM isn't somewhere I'd normally go due to the craziness ... so I was really surprised that they were so slow.

  16. Still shopping... but so far have gotten door buster items I wanted from Kmart and Target. The lines were crazy getting in. Kmart was fast getting out... Target, the line snaked through half the store. But it went fast.
  17. OMG... that was fast! You rock - yes, that is the ad I was thinking of. I have a couple teen nephews who don't really want anything but gift cards.... but I know they would LOVE these! Plus they can race with my kiddo who got a bigger version of the same thing earlier this year. I may just have to see if I can score these......
  18. I've been browsing the BF ads as they get posted. I'm not a super shopper... but there are a few items I would really like to get for specific people. In my browsing I could have sworn that I saw small remote controlled vehicles from MarioKart - specifically Mario and Yoshi..... I know I saw them SOMEWHERE....seems like they were under $15 each...... but search as I may I can't find that ad!! Anyone have an idea which store it might have been??? I've tried just general searching online - found the cars at Walmart, but either they are not in the BF ad or I'm overlooking them. Thanks!
  19. Got a bunch of stuff for our pool at 70% off today ... a few of the items will double as bath toys - so they get to be stocking stuffers!
  20. One store most stuff was only 50%... different store had 70% signs.. but nothing worth buying blah
  21. I'm going to recommend the LeapFrog website. I bought the bundle - but after comparing I think it was a good deal...plus I didn't even have to leave my house! My order came super quick too - I was surprised.
  22. A basket of fancy coffee samples and personalized picture coffee mug.. An Edible Arrangements fruit bouquet... Soft fuzzy socks A "you name it" of the month membership.... beer, coffee, fruit, FLOWERS... Microfleece sheets
