How many of you leave your tree up through Epiphany/Little Chr-stmas/Three Kings Day on January 6th? Being Jewish, I have observed that many Roman Catholics who observe that tradition will decorate the week before Chr-stmas, not turning on any lights until Chr-stmas Eve. Whereas those who decorate early tend to have their decorations down right after New Years, if not before. Where do you fit it?

Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2010
Gator Pam replied to Brad's topic in Offline Hot Deals
Well guys, I didn't get a lot of response, and the issue of whether to truncate how long the clearance list covers was not addressed by anyone, but the request to have the listing reversed on perimeterperusing.com is unanimous by those who did respond so far. I'll continue to take PMs with input regarding this until tomorrow, and will then broach the subject with Brad. Again, I have no idea if the list can even be reversed, but I will ask and find out, if that is what the majority wants and lets me know by tomorrow. -
My Walmart won't even price match bananas from another store during the year. Save-a-lot, which is two miles away, had three pounds of bananas for $1.00 which I tried to price match at Walmart, whose bananas were 49 cents a pound. I had the ad, and they refused. No way will I try to price match at that Walmart on BF.

Slightly off topic... I was looking at the listings on perimeterperusing.com and was wondering if y'all had a preference for how long the list lasted or if you would prefer the listings to go from newest to oldest, instead of oldest to newest. I do not know if either can be customized but was thinking if a shorter time frame for the list and a reverse listing style is preferred, I could bring it to Brad's attention. Let's not clutter up the thread with replies, but feel free to PM me with your preferences. I'll tally responses through the weekend and will make a post on Monday on whether a change is wanted. Thanks for considering! -

Even further off the subject (bad mod, bad!) Have y'all heard the Star Wars movies are all going to be rereleased in theaters in 3-D? ...I know, maybe someone will take this to the Lounge... -
http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Yes/yesssmileyf.gif I'll refrain from entering more t-shirt contests, but I hope this doesn't disqualify me from the shopping bags ones when they start. Thanks Brad!

Here you go. Make ahead so it can cool before using. Sugar-Free Fat-Free Sweetened Condensed Milk 1 tsp cornstarch 1 TBS cold water 1 1/4 cup dry nonfat milk powder 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup Splenda 1 tsp vanilla Combine cornstarch and cold water in a small dish, set aside. In a microwaveable container, stir together milk powder & water. Cover and microwave 45 seconds or until hot but not boiling. Stir in cornstarch slurry and microwave 10-15 seconds longer, until thick. Stir in Splenda and vanilla thoroughly. Chill minimum 2 hours before using.

Somewhere I have a recipe for a low fat/splenda home made condensed milk. It is not yet tried and true, but I can try finding it and posting, if you would like to give it a try.

I have a couple of reusable bags I got at a fair that promotes a car that also has the reinforced bottom. They're the only reusable bags I own, so I guess I thought all of them come with them. Definitely makes these sturdy.

Do rainchecks work for getting ECB once an ad expires? I thought they were only good on sale prices. I had no idea you could get them for ECB after the offer ends!
-
Should you do a second order, if the shirts remain two colors only, I think the text should be GottaDeal yellow, instead of white. More reminiscent of the logo's colors, IMO. Other than that, they're awesome! I want both reusable shopping bags and a new t-shirt, please!

Is Staples offer an instant rebate or mail in rebate?

I use firefox and when I enter "walgreens.com" on my address bar, it gives me a selection of various pages on the site. The sneak peek is one of those options. However, here is the url for it: http://walgreens.shoplocal.com/walgreenssneakpeek/Default.aspx?action=browsepageflash&storeid=2429559&pagenumber=1&prvid=Walgreens-100808c&promotioncode=Walgreens-100808c&rapid=961315 That's probably for my local Walgreens, and since it is now Sunday, it is going directly to the current ad. But the link should work come Friday or so.

Oh, they have their summer clothing clearance going on now, up to 80% off, I think. I haven't gotten any JCP cash, but if it can be used on clearance, that's what I would use it on.

Sneak peek for Staples weekly ad next week is posted on their home page. Go to weekly deals, click on weekly ad, load and then click on the "Upcoming Weekly Ad" button. Available Sunday through Wednesday only, with a $5 purchase. They have a 50 count of DVD media for $10, if there is a rebate available, we might get those.

In my experience, if they do receipt look up for a credit card, they only see the items purchased on that credit card. So, if you return the item and they scan the credit card you paid the higher price with, that is the only amount that will show up. There are too many people with the same name for them to store records of your purchases by name; I imagine the look up is by credit card number only. -
Even at BOGO, Publix prices on BTS has not impressed me.

So glad to hear your first experience went so well, momof3luvs1! That's what we're here for. :) -
I'm within walking distance of Walgreens. Since there is no card I should be able to buy the limits on multiple trips, right? I can't imagine how they would keep track of limits otherwise.
