Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2010
Gator Pam replied to Brad's topic in Offline Hot Deals
Hey all. :) I really appreciate those who have started adding the three pound signs (the tic-tac-toe board thing) to their listing of clearance finds! It saves me a lot of editing to get everything listed on perimeterperusing.com when this is done. However, I would like to point out that the pound signs are best put at the start of the line for each item; there need not be a DPCI listed at all, much less the pound signs coming right in front of the numbers. This way the full description of the find will be read by the script. If this can be done, I would be even more appreciative. Thanks all! -
I also do the Walmart and Target clearance off season and hold on to it until needed.

I found a couple of the smaller Showtime rotisseries at my CVS, but they're still at 50% off. I already have the full size platinum version, so will take the chance and wait for 75% off. Would love to have a more compact version for smaller jobs; or even to have both going at once if I have guests over.

According to the Target site you linked to, the DPCI is: ###082-09-0003 Men's Schwinn Dual Suspension Bike - 26" (S-60) $35.04 marked 85% off, but is actually 87.5% off reg. 279.99 -

Should anyone see any men's 26" or larger bikes go 75% off, please post as soon as possible. Beorn's Mongoose was stolen (it's OK, as he had gotten too large for it awhile ago) and Paul's seat support is broken. New ones for both of them are now being considered. TIA! -

The summary of the listed deals? When gottadeal upgraded, Brad removed it. It is now only accessible at perimeterperusing.com instead. HTH! -

When I attempt to "Mark Forum Read" in both Offline Hot Deals and The GottaDeal Lounge, nothing is happening at all. I can get it to mark read if I right click and Open in a New Tab. But I do prefer being able to mark read in the tab I already have open. Those are the only two forums I regularly frequent, so I do not know if it would happen for me in all forums if I were to try it. I am using Firefox 3.6

Our garden center at the Target here in Gator Town closed a year or two ago as well. Prior to that it had plants, lawn and garden care, patio furniture, etc. I had hoped the area would be converted in to a grocery, basically making our regular Target in to a Super Target. But it has remained a storage area that is off limits to the general public. -

If you still have your receipt, or paid with a credit card and they can do a receipt look-up, and it is within the 90 day return period, you should get the full amount you paid back. If they have to pull up the price for you with no record of the sale, it will be whatever amount is last in the system. ...I think. -
It's back, and today is the day! National Pancake Day at IHOP. Free shortstack (three) of pancakes until 10:00 PM in consideration of a donation to Childrens Miracle Network.

I'm not certain, but I am pretty sure fireplace tools are considered seasonal lawn and garden, like the fire pits. If so, they should be marked down on Wednesdays... And welcome to the gottadeal.com forums, stacie. :) -

Since the bulk items is a seasonal department that took the place of Global Bazaar, is it possible it will follow a similar mark down schedule that Global Bazaar followed? Also, regarding Valentine clearance. Keep in mind what happened with Chr-stmas. They may get more merchandise delivered on trucks for a week or so, even though the holiday is passed. If you are going to Target anyway, keep checking. If someone has the clearance schedule for various holidays throughout the year for different years, could you post them in one post? I would love to take them all and put them in to the first post of this thread. Thanks! -

Does anyone know if this is in their flyer? I've sent my husband multiple times this week, and all he has found are pork necks at this price. If they are out, will they issue a rain check? -

you should make up a gottadeal button and wear it when your shopping, it will help identify othersOr get a GottaDeal shirt! I wear mine so much, it has been relegated to a house shirt, as I've worn holes in to it. -

Such great deals everyone is finding. Thanks for sharing! I have edited those posts that did not include the ### up to this point for autolisting, but yes, anyone can go in and edit their own posts to do so if they want. Welcome to all the new and lurking posters who are posting for the first time! Once you have enough posts to see it, I hope you come join us in the GottaDeal lounge for some non-bargain shopping chatter. http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l204/GatorPam/kaffee_klatsch.gif -

The dcpi's are helpful when items are posted to the main bargains page. With a dcpi I believe you can check to see if the item is in a local Target. Also with the dcpi I think you can identify the item via Target's web site. "Senior" members (meaning more experience members, LOL), correct me if I am wrong on any of this. I have over 10 Targets in my area so I call the stores first to see what the price is for an item and to see how many they have in stock. I give Guest Services the DPCI and they look up all the info really quickly. When that particular store doesn't have the item in stock, they can use the number to tell me which other stores show the item in stock and how many the system thinks the store has. The system updates every night, but it's not always accurate for clearance items. It still helps me though so I don't have to drive to each and every Target store in my area.If I am recalling correctly, there used to be a site where you could enter the DPCI and it would generate a bar code which you could print out and take to the scanner. The scanner would then tell you the price for sure, and I think it would tell you if any were left in the store. Unfortunately, I had that site bookmarked on the laptop which died on me a year or so ago. If any of the "senior" members know of the site I am talking about, and if it is still a valid site, a link posted to it would be much appreciated!
