My daughter loves Pokemon and the cards are a big hit, also there are games for Gamecube, DS, GBA and I believe Playstation. I went to ebay last year and bought a bunch of little figures of the characters, it was from one seller and they threw in a bunch of stuff like keychains and cards. She shared with her friends. She has a friend (Boy) who is fanatically about Pokemon and has stuffed animals, sheets, clothing, games, well anything they make!

really didn't think about it with the BF sales but hoping to find some at the BF prices, I think they were running $130-$160 for the mini dvd Samsung, Pansonic etc.

Walmart has BTB holiday wrapping paper but I have seen it at dollar type stores. You can always just go with yellow and black as a theme. We did a fantastic BTB birthday party a few years back, we got kid size builders aprons from Home Depot, we just ask them (from their kids clinics they have)and they gave them to us free. We made birdhouses for the kids and they assembled and painted them. I also bought a bunch of construction tape, ffound this at hardware stores like caution tape, they had oodles to choose from. We also made constuction signs out of poster board. I made a bob the builder hat cake, it was a really fun party

I was just at Costco and they have the Pink DS Lites, its in a bundle but is only $143 or something like that. Nice bundle. If you have trouble finding it, post a message to me I can pick it up for you and ship it. We dont have tax here in Montana, if you have a Costco you might try calling and see if they have one in stock

Have you tried Lakesidecollection.com, they had some nice sets for $26, I think service for 8, I got a set for the extra spoons and forks, it wasn't bad....

I maybe mistaken but the etoys one is just the pen, I don't think it has the charger in it but maybe I missed that part.....still a good deal even if backordered.

Try Target, I have ones that have candy canes on them but don't think I have seen the striped ones but worth a try.....Maybe do an online search and see if you can find a maker.

My parents spend the same for my husband as for me, they send cash. Same for his mother, she sends $100 each and $50 for the kids (which I am finding as they get older isn't very much anymore LOL). Ask your daughter if they want a combo gift or individual, maybe they are saving for a TV or appliance etc that the extra money could buy with it. Last year our parents gave us windows for the house, that was a great gift since we needed new windows but not quite enough money to buy them....
