  1. Is there online place to order?
  2. I personally think if they find their gifts than the surprise is over, go ahead and put them under the tree but won't be very exciting opening gifts that they know are there. I would definitely talk with one or both, if the older saw the items and the younger didn't, explain that he has ruined the surprise for himself but don't ruin it for anyone else in the family. My mother was telling me she found her gifts when she was younger and her mother just said well, I guess you won't be surprise now will you. I guess I believe in that too. Its madden as parents because we want them to believe and be surprised but we all know at one point all is found out and generally as they get older, the list are very specific as to what they want. You know we all do it, we snoop LOL I did it as a kid, even figured out my moms system of packaging. She would wrap the gifts and hide them behind something in her room, I would sit there and try to figure out the numbering system or whatever she had written in the corner to remember whos presents were who's, sometimes I got it, sometimes I didn't but I never opened the gifts. What fun is that. I
  3. The rebate states one rebate per address, and if you are having to provide your invoice, it will show which address this goes too......
  4. thank you for your advice.....
  5. I am giving my son an older computer, he generally surfs the net and than plays PC games, would this help the computer be faster and easier to play the PC games? If so, does this have Wins Xp or similar already on it or how does that work? Or should I just upgrade the RAM's
  6. Well, if he watches alot of TV maybe upgrade his satellite service or NetFlix/something similar, food of the month club, basket of goodies that he likes to eat, coupons for help around the house or taking him out to dinner, giftcards are very nice but if he is like my brother, they put it in a drawer and its never used. Personalized gifts like calendars, mugs, etc that have pictures he would enjoy(ie his family, you, kids, grandkids, pets etc). Just some thoughts,
  7. My guess would be these are the older ones they were clearing out a few weeks ago getting ready for the new stock. I wish I could of gotten the docks for $1.96 as above. LOL
  8. Doesn't Fisher Price has a MP3 player for kids, might be alittle more kid friendly for a 4 and 6 yr old......Check out the toys sections in Walmart, target and TRU and see what they have
  9. Personally I would use the canned pumpkin since its already processed etc. Go to Food network, they have a ton of pumpkin pie recipes. i saw one Paula Dean done with apple butter in it.....She used a frozen pie crust, simple. Just pay attention to the recipe because some call for pumpkin puree and some call for the pumpkin pie filling (which is another great way to do it), I think the recipe is on the back of the can. Pumpkin puree doesn't have any spices etc added. I personally buy ours from Costco, one of the best that I have tasted and its big for $5.99. Though, this year we are getting home made because my step mother can't have salt in her diet so everything has to be made from scratch.
  10. I don't think anyone was critizing you, I think they were wondering how it works. Essentially, the google $10 doesn't affect the rebate. I actually get it for $2.56 because we don't have sales tax.
  11. It will work as $34 + $8.56=$42.56-$10(google)=$32.56 -$30.00 rebate=$2.56 (we don't have sales tax here in Montana) The google $10 doesn't affect what you get for rebate at all so you get the full rebate, it will pay for the shipping. Little better deal if it had free shipping.....
  12. You need Sims 2, which is on sale too but go to Amazon and they have a limited edition one called Holiday Edition Sims 2 which has the full version on it and I got that one for $15!
  13. This is the computer one PC version and its available online, just got it!
  14. They do that all the time, I just wait till it goes back down
  15. Oh Ok, I signed up for that site and never could register for the party box....
  16. Where did you get the freebie deal? Was that just for the Sims 2
  17. Have an aunt, grandma, mother or someone you are looking for alittle something extra, Ladies Home Journal is the special today
  18. One more question, maybe if you don't know someone else here might know. I just bought this, will it work with all the other software that says you need Sims2 first like the other holiday stuff CD, Pets 2 etc. Just making sure that if I buy some of the other software that required Sims 2 to be installed, this will suffice.
  19. Seen the Sims 2 on sale anywhere? It says the holiday edition has Sims2 on it, can anyone verify that? is it the whole game etc? Sims is on my daughters wish list #1
  20. Email, most all their promotions like that are ecards/pormotion codes. I had a weird experience the other day. I just got the Disney Rewards card and when you make your first purchase, you get a ecard good for $25 or $50 whatever your promotion was when you signed up. Well, they were having a 40% off sale so I put in $121 worth of stuff, put in the promo code for 40%, it took the 40% off but when I put in the promotion code for the $25 they sent, it took the $25 and divided it up among the items as a percentage, well, it didn't give me the full $25 off. Just a note, they usually send this as a ecard where you put in a number on the last page of checkout as a form of payment. They changed to a promotional code that you put in before you checkout. But anyway, I called and after 30 mins on the phone, they couldn't tell me what was going on but to order and they would give me the full $25. Well, I couldn't process it, it was stuck and just wouldn't let me finish the last page. So I closed it down, went back in, took out the promo codes and started over but this time put in the $25 code first than the 40% off code and bingo it worked. It took me over an hour to complete the transaction but it took my $121 order down to $52 when it was done!
  21. People have been posting about finding in store just the castle, which I think has the carriage and people but no furniture for $34. I think on of the places was Kohls, they were having a sale. I will have to check where I found it but alot of places are really starting some sales. I see Walmart lowered the castle with furniture down too, I think to $79 or 76 If you buy it from a store, keep your receipt handy! I keep all my receipts in my car so that I have them on hand, if I see something cheaper, I buy it, go to the car, get the receipt and return the one I just bought so that I don't have to mess with it at another time.
  22. I guess for those ordering maybe worth a call than, if thats the case than $99 for the basic castle is very steep since full retail on just the castle is $45 and been seen on sale around $34. I based it on the price since retail was up there abit.
