  1. Because the new customer is what they want. If the existing customer leaves they end up paying the termination fee(varies now depending how far you are into your contract) and the service provider still makes money, and usually you end up paying the extra fee's on there phones. If you bought that phone $50 when you signed up for a new service and then cancel, the leftover of what they say the price is(say $300 for the phone and you got it for $50) you would owe termination fee + the leftover phone cost($250) I have a premier account through AT&T and up until about July i was getting 6-8 brand new phones from AT&T per year for the last 5yrs because i was a premier member. I would sell all these phones and make 5x more than what i paid for it usually. They cracked down on it recently and its looking like i may be only getting 2 a year or so. Premier is done through website only though. It just shows you how much there phones actually mean to them. Its the service they want and make there money off of. If your really interested in this stuff go to http://www.howardforums.com/ There is about 950,000 members there and all they do is talk about phones and phone service. If you want to find out any tricks to get your price lowered or anything regarding phones thats the place to go.
  2. my iphone is $72 a month with all taxes and fee's through AT&T Alot of states have different rates on wireless stuff sot hat is why there is a huge price gap for some compared to others.
  3. newegg is the biggest computer part store on the net, and the most recommended.
  4. Garmin , Tom tom uses a different mapping system than Garmin/Magellen and all the others, its really outdated and usually wrong.
  5. I cant believe how many ebay auctions i see where someone is selling teh coupon then putting a link in the auction directly to CC or BB to redeem the link, then they say please dont redeem:gdlicklips:
  6. ebay is the way to go, i get mine for around $20-$25 and thats usually 13 months of membership, its true you have to create a new profile everytime you use a new card but its better than paying $40+ , if you want to keep your profile and use x-box live after your year is up you have to update via the console itself or online with your created profiles account.
  7. Looking to buy something local and trying to find a 10% off coupon to avoid buying it online!
  8. whats the deal with these dyson vacuums, are they really worth the money?
  9. I have dish network and even though i love the service i will never give them my info for autopay, there customer service is the worst i have ever seen. It took me 6 months to get my $45 off my service that i signed up for, i sent out the rebate forms 4 times and each time they never received them, one of them i even had delivery confirmation for and they still said they didnt get it. Finally after 6 months or so they said it was processed, well im out that $45 a month extra i paid for 6 months that i was not supposed to be paying. Either way i think im done with them after my 18 month commitment is up even though i like there service.
  10. monoprice is where i get all my cables, I am AV nut to so im really into it, I probably have 10k into my home theatre. Monoprice cables are as good as anything out there.
  11. I bought the Navigon 2100 with lifetime traffic online at BB for $149(only last a couple hours at this price) I have not received it yet but im debating whether or not to get another one now. Ive read that its not updatable via the PC, so your pretty much stuck with what you get. I think i would rather have something where there are more POI rather than text to speech and traffic updates. Are there any other deals right now for under $200?
  12. also like i order 4 $10 ones for $4.80 or something, it says you can only use them once a month or whatnot, do they actually keep track ?
