AFAIK, Target hasn't had Snowden items for at least 2-3 years.

Actually, I'm kind of disappointed in all the ads, unless I've overlooked something. But nonetheless, we will go out, and will probably find something. Because as a shopaholic, I must shop .

I'm a member of a few survey sites that award you points, and you trade in the points for GCs. Also, I've gotten several GCs from test drive offers. Sometimes, you end up with a GC that you don't want/won't use. When that happens I always sell the GC or trade it for other GCs that I will use.

KMart's been running the Pepsi 4 for $9 sale quite often lately. It's definitely not great, but it's the best we can normally get around here .

For anyone that's buying Halloween costumes for dress up boxes for Christmas gifts, Target just marked their Halloween down to 90% off today. I was just at one of my Targets a couple of hours ago, and they still had a really good selection of costumes.

I normally use wrapping paper, all different kinds. I buy it at Target after Christmas when it goes to 90% off.

I can't post what I'm getting my DH for Christmas because he reads the boards here too. LOL

Actually I can understand why your sister thinks you are asking her to join a cult when you're trying to convince her to go BF shopping . For people who aren't as excited about BF shopping as we are it can seem quite scary. I don't personally know many people that are into the whole BF thing. I'm an avid bargain hunter, so I live for BF , but some people would just prefer to save themselves the hassle of all of this and pay regular price for an item. I actually had all my Christmas shopping done in April, but my DH and I enjoy BF shopping so much that we have to go out .

We're Deadheads, so this is going to be my first year with a Grateful Dead tree. I've spent the last 3-4 yrs. buying Grateful Dead ornaments, and I will use purple balls as filler as well as purple lights.

We normally put up our tree and decorations on Thanksgiving, but I'm hoping to get it done a couple of days early this year.

I don't start wrapping gifts until I put up the Christmas tree. I normally put up the tree on Thanksgiving, but I think I'm going to try to put it up a couple of days early this year.

The malls are normally crazy all day long here on BF.

I don't foresee a blizzard here until January or February. But if there was a blizzard on BF, as long as the roads were driveable, the stores would be open.

Pertaining to the Target Markdown Schedule, your stores may or may not follow it. The Targets in my area have never followed the Markdown Schedule. One the best things to remember is a lot of Targets don't markdown items at the same time. Most of the time around here I can go into a Target and see and item clearanced at 50% off and go into another Target and the same item will be 30% off. All markdowns with the exception of seasonal is done by hand in the stores. It depends on how well an item is selling. Most seasonal merchandise is a computer generated markdown done by corporate.

I can't be sure about this year of course, but last year Best Buy had a pretty cheap laptop ($400-$500) with no rebates.
