I like colored lights. Sometimes I use multi-colored, sometimes I use just a single color.

Unless we decide to drive to Omaha or Minneapolis on Thanksgiving, I will be in Des Moines, IA on BF and I will have my GottaDeal shirt on.

I have been going BF shopping for over 17 years, and this is going to be my 3rd BF at this site.

Normally, we put up decorations on Thanksgiving, but I think we are going to start decorating a week earlier this year. The last couple of years, we didn't feel like decorating on Thanksgiving, then we were so busy we didn't have the time to devote to it. So decorations didn't get put up at all.

I guess you could say I collect Hallmark ornaments. It was never meant to be a collection, but since I buy several every year, I have hundreds of them.

Miracle on 34th Street (the original 1947 version in black and white). I hate it when they colorize old black & white movies.

It depends on the deals. If I don't buy a computer, normally I don't spend any more than $200 or $300.

Unless we plan on going to Best Buy, we are normally out of the house by 3 or 4 am, and usually make it home by 1 pm. Most years, we take a nap and then go out for more shopping (non-doorbuster items and items that don't sell out quickly). Normally, I don't get any sleep on Thanksgiving night, so if I don't get that nap in the afternoon on BF, you don't want to be around me .

I think that would depend on whether or not those 9 people liked to shop. I've found that most people that like to shop enjoy BF, but for those that don't it's just too much stress to be around the crowds especially that early in the morning. I have a friend who hates to shop. Never cares to find a bargain, just prefers to wait until he needs something and runs to the first store he can find to get it or buys it online. For him, BF would be a nightmare. But his wife on the other really likes to shop, and thanks to me and my DH is becoming quite the bargain hunter. She went with us last year on BF for the first time and had the time of her life. She's already asked to come along this year. So I really do think it just depends on your take on shopping.

Normally, my DH is the only one who goes with me, but last year we took a friend with us. She had such a good time that she wants to go with us again this year.

The coupons come from the Proctor & Gamble inserts in the paper each month. I'm not sure if the coupon insert in yesterday's paper had the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser coupons or not, I haven't looked through them yet.

I didn't find too many things that I wanted to buy yesterday. I spent $43.28 including tax for 10 items.

I wouldn't do anything differently. We took a friend this year who has never gone BF shopping before. We got everything on our list and had a blast .

Kohls has the Marvel Scene It game tin. It is in their BF ad. I think the price will be $24.XX. It's normally $39.99 if I'm remembering correctly.

Whether or not you can get the tickets for the doorbusters depends on the store's manager. What I would do is call the store(s) you plan on camping out at and ask the manager if you can get them by yourself or do you need to have an adult present.

Hopefully this year my DH and I will be taking a friend with us BF shopping. She told me a couple of days ago that she was looking foward to going, but she's said that before and backed out at the last minute. Maybe this year will be different, she was on the phone with her mother the other day and her mother hinted around about coming to visit on Thanksgiving weekend. My friend informed her mother that she couldn't come because she won't be home on BF, she will be out shopping with us .

My DH loves to shop. I would probably have a fight on my hands if I tried to leave him at home on BF.

I personally don't like to price match for that exact reason. If a store has a better price on the item(s) I'm looking for, that stores deserves to get my business. But I know a lot of people seem to disagree with that, so to each his own.
