We didn't get the doorbuster deals at Best Buy here last year either. It was the first year that's ever happened. I hope the doorbusters are available to us this year, but I seriously doubt it will be .

I don't buy many mainstream CDs. Most of the CDs that I buy are hardly ever on sale. As for DVDs, I would love to see Hoodwinked on sale BF for $10 or less.

I have been BF shopping since I was a teenager (or maybe pre-teen). It's been so many years ago, it's hard to remember .

Normally my DH and I leave the house between 3 and 4 am. Last year, we didn't need much, so we didn't get out of the house until 6:30 am. If you need a hot ticket item at Best Buy, I would recommend getting there by 8 or 9 pm on Thanksgiving.

I don't go alone because my DH is as crazy about this as I am, so he always wants to go too.

This year I'm planning on a "Grateful Dead" tree with GD ornaments, GD mini bears, purple balls as fillers and purple lights. We also might be doing multiple trees this year. I have too many ornaments, and I would like to display more of them, so multiple trees might be a good idea.

I don't shop at Wal-Mart, so it doesn't make any difference to me either way. But I do know quite a few people that will be upset if they don't do the doorbuster deals.

My favorite Christmas movie is the original Miracle on 34th Street. As for Christmas music, I like a lot of different things, and can't really think of much right now.... except I'm waiting (impatiently) for the Twisted Sister Christmas CD to be released October 17.

Like a lot people here, I boycott Wal-Mart on a regular basis , so obviously they won't get any of my money on BF. I would rather than shop at Wal-Mart. I won't be boycotting any other stores, so bring on the shopping .

Target doesn't normally do early bird (doorbuster) specials on BF.

Target doesn't normally have doorbuster deals. Their BF sales are usually 2 day sales, but some items do sell out early. So if there's something you want you should try to get there on BF. Around here, the DVDs normally sell out early as well as some of the other stuff.
