Mine does - even doorbusters, however the PM must being during the hours that the store is open. So if I want to PM the snuggie from OM which doesn't open until 7 am I would need to wait until 7 am at Wal-Mart to purchase it there and price match.

Never had a problem PM'ing at the Wal-Mart near me either on BF. The items from other stores are usually on the shelves and the employees usually act like they didn't even know another store had it on sale until I show them the ad, lol.

thanks. Got a jacket for my cousin and a pair of jeans for me for $17 + tax Awesome -
Went tonight - it was like Black Friday, lol. The line snaked around the store to the back. I took my dd4 and ds9 and my son's eyes about popped out of his head. We were in the store for 45 minutes - 35 of which was spent waiting in line. I bought a pair of shoes for my dd and ds and a pair of sunglasses for myself.
-
oh yeah - well I also have a $5 off coupon from before so I guess that is better than nothing. But thanks I was getting my sale dates confused.

It might not be the only one but it is generally the biggest one with the best deals. For some people saving the $30 or so dollars on a toy can mean a whole lot to them.
-
I want to get my dd the power wheels. Walmart has one for $198 regularly - not sure what I want to do. With the $10 coupon off the Big Toy Book, I can get this one for 169.99. Hmmm....decisions decisions.

I am getting that the code is not valid. Dang I waited too long

If you have a DH/DW/SO, what are you getting them this year?
nikkilugi replied to AudreyNicole's topic in 2009
My dh has an online wishlist at Quadratec for his Jeep. I think he might love his Jeep more than me I have already bought him some slippers and a tool kit (he is always misplacing his tools). I will probably get him something for his beloved Jeep as well. -
No I'm not. I should definitely look into that, although now I'm not buying any current paperbacks since I have the Kindle. I just bought the new Janet Evanovich hardback at a garage sale and I felt like a traitor to my Kindle, LOL. I guess because I paid so dang much for it I don't want to buy any more physical books :) I do still have a TON of books that I need to get rid of.

Amazon has some free books for the Kindle. They are usually promotional offerings. There is also a website called feedbooks.com that offer free books as well. I know there are some libraries out there that offer e-book downloads. I don't think they will work with the Kindle because of the formatting, however there is a service that Amazon offers that converts files into Kindle format but I'm not sure how that would work with a library service download. I LOVE my Kindle though. I was a book buyer anyway so this isn't much of a change for me except that I find that with on demand purchasing and downloading with the wireless service I could spend A LOT buying more books as I finish one - I force myself to pace myself.

It still works - I just tried it

I don't think taking your kids out on BF is child abuse. The opinion of not being bundled up properly is different from one person to the next. My grandma freaks because I don't put an undershirt on the kids in the winter. Everyone has different reasons - some HAVE to do it to give their kids a Christmas and some just WANT to do it. Taking your kids shopping is not a crime - even on busy days.
-
Santa brings 3 gifts for each child. They can be combined gifts as well - so this year my ds's will be getting an XBox 360 as a combined gift which will count as 1 each. They will then get 2 more gifts. Santa also does stockings. Santa doesn't wrap anything. I can't keep my paper straight and my kids would notice if I use the same paper from Santa on the other gifts from mom and dad so I don't even try.

My sons were 7 and 8 last Christmas and we did the e150's from Wal-Mart. They handle them with no problems at all. I probably would have been comfortable getting them the e200 as well but the boys go balls to the wall most of the time and the thought of the 300 scares the crud out of me. The 150 from Wal-Mart is a great price and the motor is a bit more powerful than the e100.

My kids still believe. My ds will be 10 for Christmas this year and he is still a full believer. I also will have a ds9 and dd4 and they also totally believe. My problem is the same as jerica388's though. I have to be sneakier and it is killing me this year. My dd is now 4 and she remembers what I buy if we are out together shopping. Last year I would be able to buy things for her brothers during the day while we were shopping and she would be oblivious - not now. And she is a blabbermouth! I can't get anything by her anymore.

Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2009
nikkilugi replied to Brad's topic in Offline Hot Deals
I live by the 153rd and K-7 store in S. Olathe and went there after work. They only had the one on the end cap in electronics. -
Returning and rebuying is different than "price adjusting". A price adjustment would just require you to bring in your receipt and they adjust the price and give you the difference. If you are returning an item and then purchasing the same item at the discounted rate that is a totally different thing. This was an email directly from corporate - and many of us have been told one thing by someone at the store and then told something completely different later when the time comes to do your transaction. Not to be negative but TRU is a classic example of double speak in retail in my experience.

Thanks so much for the heads up on the TV. I went tonight after work and picked up one for my boys for Christmas from their grandma. She gives me $$ to shop and I buy their gifts from her. I already told her that I would probably get them a TV - but she only gave me $300 this year (last year I got $400 for both of them) for them and I was freaking a bit because I really, really didn't want to camp out for BF to get a deal on a TV for them. This worked out PERFECTLY and I am sooooo happy!! Thanks! Nikki -
According to an email I received from guest services Toys R Us does NOT offer price adjustments for items that go on sale. Dear Ms. Luginbill, Thank you for contacting Toys R Us. In regards to your inquiry, we do not currently offer any price adjustment for a item that goes on sale after you make your purchase. I do apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you again for contacting Toys R Us. Sincerely, Brenna Bowman Guest Services Team So it is feasible that items in the Big Toy Book might be on sale later in the Holiday Season. I know TRU has run special sales and coupon events after Black Friday as well.

We got the Razor 150 from Wal-Mart last year and I think the price was $99 each. I could never find an electric scooter at KMart - especially on sale just like always at our KMart. The boys really love the scooters :)

Well I have an extensive list, lol. I don't buy anything much for myself during the year and save up my wants for my dh for Christmas. I would like: A new digital camera with a bigger screen and wi-fi A new cell phone A netbook with an extra battery to take on the bus during trips Amazon gc to buy more Kindle books Perfect Brownie pan (been hinting to the kids on this one) Escape from New York DVD Sahara DVD Brett Favre Purple Minnesota Jersey (I will probably have to buy this for myself since my dh hates any guy that I like, lol) A few new DS games I know I won't get all that stuff but I have to give him enough to make choices of what he wants to buy.

BurtsBee.com Grab bag was $50.00 now $25.00
nikkilugi replied to steph3306's topic in Online Hot Deals
I received mine. I am also having a bit of a problem deciding how to divide my bag. I wanted to divide it between my 2 cousins but I feel like the items received are really small and would make the gifts look cheap even though I usually only spend about $15 per cousin. I didn't receive the lip shimmer merlot or toffee although I did receive one extra small foot lotion. So I am missing 2 regular size products out of my bag. I guess I will email the co and see what they say. -
