make sure you are using the import from url option. You can't upload the pic straight from your device. Does that help?

Thanks guys. I was thinking $25 too, but wasn't sure since it hasn't released yet. I guess since it's unlikely to get MORE expensive after it releases, I can just wait and see.

OK, I feel like there used to be an Official Video Games thread, but I can't find it. Please move this if it belongs somewhere else. Every year, I get my son the newest COD game, but this year he already has it. So, the other day he said I should get him the new Spyro, which I guess is a remake of an old game he played as a kid. (I'm not at all a gamer, can you tell? LOL). What do you think the chances are of this game being on sale on BF? Or should I go ahead an pre-order it now on Amazon for almost $40?

I guess it would be an inventory nightmare, with too many smaller items, to try to do like Sam's does, and allow you to scan on your own phone. Short of that though, checking out throughout the store sound like a great idea.

If it were me, I'd probably pay the extra $4 and get the newer one. I don't know how much different the speaker is, but in general the technology will be a little newer.

We never go to Kohl's on BF, but I've never had trouble with online shopping there.

This is how I would feel, and then I would end up buying WAY too much because I would decide to put all that together and make 1 gift, and still have to run out and buy other stuff. Of course, there were a couple years when they were little that I would literally go to Walmart in the middle of the night, the night before Christmas Eve, because when I got out their stuff it didn't look like "enough". I have a problem. LOL

My kids generally would only tell me 1 or 2 things they wanted, then I filled in the rest with other stuff I thought they would like. They figured out pretty early that if they kept their list short, they would probably get whatever was on it, LOL.

Tomorrow!!! On another note, I wonder why some of these stations start so late in December.

'Tis the last official day to sign up. I won't get the names out until Saturday, so stragglers will have a couple extra days but if you're already here, PLEASE DON'T WAIT. The last couple years, I've been able to switch things around and allow late comers, but it does cause some confusion. I especially only want to send out 1 cards list this year. (Having said all that, I hate the thought of anyone missing out so I guess we'll just see how it goes).

It has. We also have 1 more committed (just hasn't had time to get her info in), and if the last 2 years are any indication we'll have 2 or 3 that come in after the deadline.

I was in the Christmas aisle at Walmart the other day and saw a bag of slime you put gift cards in.

I've used the Walmart pay twice now. It's not as bad as I thought. LOL. Actually, I had to run in the other night for 1 thing. I grabbed it, went through the self check, used Walmart Pay and was out the door. I wondered why I had been so resistant, it was the easiest thing ever.

I'm not sure about downloading content to watch offline with DirecTV, but I think I remember you can do that. Also, you can rent movies from Amazon, and download those to a tablet. Once you start a rented movie, I think you have 48 hours to finish it. You can do that with a Kindle, or with any tablet you can put the Amazon video app on.

Trading Places. I love that movie. I keep trying to get my kids to watch it (they're grown), but I can't pin them down. "How can I stop him sir, when I don't know which way is Connecticut?!?"

Funny story... I am making cookies with royal icing for my niece's baby shower in a couple weeks. Since I've never made royal icing, I made a practice run over the weekend. My son comes in while I'm baking, I turn around and he has a mouth full of cookie. I said "Seriously? You have no idea what i'm baking these for, you don't know if I needed a certain number of cookies, what if I hadn't had enough for you to start eating them??" Him: "what? I thought they were Christmas cookies." Me: "It's OCTOBER!" Him: "SO? You start celebrating Christmas in JULY!!!". He kinda had me there (but seriously, I don't start making Christmas cookies this early. LOL).
