THEN, funny story, when I went to get the white chocolate chips I accidentally picked up confetti instead of just plain white chocolate. I didn't have time to go again, so I hoped it would just look festive.

Count me in on the "not a fan of A Christmas Story" club. Everyone just loves that movie, and I've never understood why. LOL.

I was grown before I saw It's a Wonderful Life. I like the movie, but it's not a must watch for me. White Christmas, on the other hand, is my favorite! Followed by Holiday Inn. I always say Bing Crosby was just a whole different kind of sexy. I'm a choir girl, though, and my dream man has always been someone that will sing to me. Guess that's why I'm still single .

I'm through baking and dipping. Unless I decide to make the candied cereal and pecans. I really need to do that, since I bought all the stuff :/. I need to put cookies and candy together to take to work. Tomorrow is our Christmas lunch at work, so tonight I will go home and make deviled eggs. Saturday, I will spend all day watching Bing Crosby and wrapping presents. Hopefully that doesn't spill over into Sunday. I'll try to get my son's help (I've already wrapped his, just so he can help me with everyone else ). Then I get to sit back and just enjoy the last couple days of the Christmas season .

Everyone has posted or otherwise let me know they've received their gifts, except 1 ornament. I've reached out to her to make sure she got it (tracking shows it was delivered). Looks like another successful season! Thank you all. We usually post the list on Christmas Day, but I might do it early this year.

I have 1 son living at home. I've wrapped his presents and put them under the tree, so that when I have time he can help me wrap everything else. It's killing him that his gifts are sitting there. This is the first time in his life (he's 23) I've put gifts under the tree before Christmas Eve. LOL

tracking shows your package should be delivered today

I was done with my shopping, but I have to return something, so now I need one more thing for my son, and one for my daughter. I had ordered a 2 pack of tiles, thinking they were the new ones with replaceable batteries. I didn't realize what I received didn't have replaceable batteries until I got ready to wrap them and opened the box (to separate them into 2 gifts).

I received my ornament today. Man, my ornament giver makes me want to apologize to my ornament recipient. LOL. So very generous! Check this out - she sent me a lovely fleece throw, a bottle of B&BW lotion, a bag of Ghirardelli chocolates, a smell good candle in a cast iron skillet, some cute Santa socks, a sweet card, and a beautiful ornament that says " A house is made of wood. A home is built with love." I feel so blessed. Thank you so much!

According to the tracker, my package should be delivered today. Then I can quit stressing about if it got there and if they liked it. LOL I have officially heard from everyone that they've either shipped, or will be shipping in the next few days (all with good reason, of course). So, YAY, another year when no elves are required . Please Please Please don't forget to post here when you receive your gifts, even if you aren't opening yet. I have a few tracking #s that show delivered, but no posts saying the gifts were received. Did porch pirates attack? Or did you just forget to let us know?

I'm getting a little put out with our USPS. I felt like my package should have been delivered Saturday. Post Office said it would be delivered Monday. OK, whatever. Now it says "Your package will arrive later than expected, but is still on its way". What does that even mean? Give me a date!

My cousin just told me they have a store in Penn Sq. Mall, in OKC. But that mall is about an hour from my house, and the traffic is so horrible in that area I probably wouldn't go even if it were closer. LOL

Was off work yesterday, so I missed Santa's arrival! Luckily for me, he left my goodies on my desk . Thank you so much to my Secret Santa! I got a bottle of my favorite B&BW scent shower gel, a beautiful throw, and a box of See's peanut clusters. I'd heard of See's candies, but never had them. OMG, SO GOOD! Thank you thank you thank you!!

We are down to 4 that I haven't heard from. I think one may have shipped, and just forgot to send me tracking info (her SS recipient has posted she received, but her ornament hasn't so I'm not sure). I gotta be honest, I am really worried about one of them. She's been on here for years and she's always so excited about the exchanges. But she hasn't been online on GD since 11/7. I'm praying she's okay. If I don't hear from her in the next couple days, I will be reaching out to those that volunteered to be an elf (thank you!).

So, as of right now, there are 15 Santas I have not heard anything from, and 5 on the ornament exchanges. I know everyone will come through, and I start getting a little panicky for nothing . I've used those bags from QVC for 3 years now. I love them! But then, I hate wrapping. LOL. I do wrap everything for the children. Most of the fun in getting gifts is tearing off the paper .

My SS gift is boxed, addressed, and ready to go out tomorrow. I have never second-guessed myself so much in a SS gift choice. I sure hope they like it! Also, I would like to apologize in advance to my SS for all the tape on the box. After I got everything in there, I was afraid the box wasn't sturdy enough so I was trying to shore it up, LOL.

Used mine up yesterday. I hardly shop at Kohl's, but my niece has a birthday this weekend so that made it easier.
