I'd never heard of Discord. But I've signed up and it looks like it might be fun . Also downloaded the app to my phone. You can never get away from me now.

I think (and this is just my opinion) the best thing about the webcasts is the real time conversation between everyone. That would be lost with a podcast.

CVS and Walgreens, places like that, usually have gift cards in their BF ads. Like $50 for $40, or something.

Growing up, we always had somewhere to go on Christmas Day so Mama said we didn't have time to play with our new toys. Therefore, we would go drive around and look at Christmas lights on Christmas Eve and while we were gone, Santa would come. I continued that with my own kids. Santa came to my daughter in law's house while she slept, and they opened presents on Christmas morning. What that means for me is, I got to keep my traditions even after the grands came along . They come over to my house on Christmas Eve and we open presents, then Santa comes to their house that night and they open in the morning.

I second the Home Depot tree. I think a lot of us here have it. It's pretty, has white and multicolor lights, and you can't beat the price. I bought one for my kids 3 years ago, and got mine 2 years ago. We did not get there at opening, and were able to get one, so I guess it probably depends on where you live. We walked in, and they already had them loaded in baskets.

Do you mean how to get it to stay? Since you (presumably) can't staple or nail into vinyl fence? Would Command Hooks work? I don't know the weather where you're at, or if they make an outdoor sticky for those, maybe?

I decorate Thanksgiving weekend. I start listening to Christmas music way early, and I'll watch a Christmas movie any chance I get. I am a firm believer it never "too early" to start celebrating Christmas, so I don't judge anyone that decorates earlier.

We always just do a regular sugar cookie, with regular buttercream icing. But we make a LOT of them. LOL. This year, I'd really like to try to make baklava. Is that a cookie? It's a little intimidating, looking at it, so I may or may not give it a shot. Anyone make it?

Thank you! I will definitely look into this. So far, he's eaten (not really, but heavily chewed) the handle off my recliner, the bottom of my entertainment center, and the carpet between the living room and bathroom! LOL
