  1. I'm not laughing at you! I've had that same dream. LOL. Came here the next day and said y'all can ever leave me! It was a horrible feeling!
  2. So long, Geoffrey. http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/k499/ts1852/Photo%20Jun%2027%2010%2012%2055%20PM.jpg

  4. yep, we were all out of our minds for it at $79.99. lol
  5. Already reading archived Black Friday forums. The next 5 months are going to be sooooooo looooooong!
  6. I noticed QVC has several Christmas/winter kitchen items in their As-Is section. Makes me think they're probably going through their inventory getting ready for Christmas in July. Now, Christmas in July is no Black Friday, but it'll help tide me over .
  7. I used to start really getting in the mood for the holidays as soon as the weather started cooling off. I'd be ready for Christmas music in September. Over the last few years, it's gotten earlier and earlier. Now it's like I get in the mood as soon as the weather starts getting hot! The last few days, I've really been anxious for the Black Friday on Gottadeal forums.
  8. Yeah, I'd never be able to afford to rebuild my music library if I lost Prime, but for now the shipping alone saves me enough to make it worth it.
  9. With May comes tornadoes. We have severe weather possibilities for the next 4 days in Oklahoma. We actually set a record this year for the longest into the year we've gone without a tornado. We haven't had even 1 yet, which kind of makes me nervous for what May is going to bring. Some of our biggest tornadoes were in years that started slow.
  10. I love my Amazon Prime, and it does pay for itself for now. Eventually they're going to increase it one $20 too far.
  11. I just keep hoping the re-freezes are killing the fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes!
  12. Admittedly, I know nothing about snow blowers. We don't have much use for them in Central Oklahoma . But my first thought was "I think I remember seeing a few in the BF ads, but I don't have time to go do a search right now." Of course, I couldn't stand it, so I went and looked. These are probably nowhere near the ones you've looked at, in terms of quality, but this is what I found: Lowes, $299 (currently $369) - https://www.lowes.com/pd/Briggs-Stratton-1022-22-in-Single-stage-Gas-Snow-Blower/1000275333 Farm and Fleet, $299 (currently on clearance for $258.88) - https://www.farmandfleet.com/products/1053865-troy-bilt-21-single-stage-snow-thrower.html Sears, $599.99 (currently $858.59) - http://www.sears.com/craftsman-quiet-208cc-dual-stage-snow-thrower/p-07188694000P?plpSellerId=Sears&prdNo=1&blockNo=1&blockType=G1 Tractor Supply - $499.99 (currently $599.99) - https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/huskee-24-in-2-stage-snow-thrower?cm_vc=-10005
  13. They are talking about it here in OK too. But every other news story about it says it the other way (either permanently go to Daylight Saving Time, or permanently get rid of Daylight Saving Time) so I'm not sure what the plan really is. I wish the whole country would make the change if it's going to change. I don't want to have to remember which states are on what to figure out time differences.
  14. I would love to go. It's about 15 hours North of me. My sisters and I are planning a road trip, destination as yet determined, but for some reason they nixed the idea of driving that far. LOL
  15. A couple years ago, there was a thread about a big Christmas store somewhere up North (or, at least, North of me). I can't for the life of me remember the name of the store or even what city/state it was in. Can you help? Never mind - I found it . Bronner's in Frankenmuth, MI
  16. Congratulations on the weight loss ! Sorry about the paycheck .
  17. I'm so sorry to hear this. Bless his little heart. Hugs to you Mama. I know how scary it can be.
  18. Am I the only one that can't stand for any of the forum headings to be bold? If I don't actually read every post, I have to go click "mark as read" on every forum, even the Black Friday Archives (I assume people go in to the archives and "like" old posts, and that's why they're bold?). Ya, I'm sure it's probably just me. LOL
  19. This makes me sad. Both stores anywhere close to me are on the list. One of the 2 is very old and probably needed torn down years ago. It's also next door to a mall that has completely shut its doors. But the other one is a really nice store, in a generally busy shopping strip.
  20. Circuit City Reboot... Another article that immediately made me think of you guys: http://baltimore.cbslocal.com/2018/01/11/circuit-city-reopening/
  21. 146" TV?? Of course I thought about you guys when I saw this article: http://www.koco.com/article/check-out-samsung-s-new-supersized-tv/15049222
  22. Happy new year! I've enjoyed vacation for the past week, but unfortunately it's back to the grind tomorrow .
  23. Wow! I'm not sure how to feel about that.
  24. You're so welcome! I'm glad you liked them.
