My one "need" isn't available as a Best Buy doorbuster -- a 37" to 40" HDTV. I need to get it at BB, because I have over $1,000 in BB Gift Cards, Reward Zone Certificates and BBBs that I need to use. I'll still go out and pick up a few minor things somewhere (DVDs, George Forman Grill) but I don't think I'll be getting anywhere before they open.

The book is 56 pages long! Men's Alfani wool suits: 50% off down to $237.50 Men's sweaters on sale include Geoffrey Beene, Columbia, Izod, Nautica and Perry Ellis. Most appear to be about 30 to 40% off. I don't see any premium denim on sale, BUT Frangos are on sale!! $12.99 for a 1lb box!

I would think with all of the craziness around PS3 and Wii, there should be some good deals somewhere on the Gamecube. You might want to try eBay also.

It's a rebate that you can submit online. No need to handwrite any forms or cut out any UPC codes. Just go the Staples web site, enter some info of your receipt, fill in your personal info, then wait several weeks for your check. BTW, I believe they usually limit these to one rebate per item per address.

Please note that if you only have 2 computers, you need the wireless router as RossMAN says, but you'll probably only need one wireless adapter. That's because you'll connect your "main" computer to the router via an ethernet cable. The second PC will then connect to the router wirelessly via a wireless adapter you'll install on the second PC. l

With only a week to go before BF, I feel bad that for the past 2 months, no one has had any comments on Barnes & Noble. (No, I don't work there) So here's the first and maybe only post. :) Do they even have a BF sale?? Has anyone ever shopped there on BF??

I assume that you have your DSL connected to a PC somewhere in your home, and you want to share the internet connection with DD in her room? Does she have a desktop or a laptop?

I got the Macy's BF catalog in the mail today. I'm in the Chicago area, and I'm not sure if it has the same sales as Macy's outside of my area. All of the Macy's here are converted Marshall Fields stores that just converted a couple months ago.

How much money do they want to spend? If you want to avoid the BF crowds, you can get a nice low-end Dell or HP computer for well under $500. If it's not critical to get the absolute lowest price, avoid the BF crowds and get something on-line. You can buy direct from Dell (@ dell.com) or HP (@ hpshopping.com). Both may have some special pricing as we get closer to X-Mas. BTW, why did it take you a year to get your first post up?? Welcome!

Got this in the mail today with my Capital One credit card bill: $5 off $50 at K-B Toys. Expires 12/31/97. Not good on Gift cards, video game hardware, video games or accessories.
