  1. Forget the free latte! How about a dozen donuts for 99 cents??? (they don't make good x-mas presents, though )
  2. Even though I hate MIR's, I think I bought more at OM when they did have MIR's. Their pricing is no longer any good without them.
  3. Better yet -- Brad for Walmart CEO so he can leak his own ad!!
  4. All of the various GPS units represent the best group of BF deals this year! My wife has one built into her 2006 Civic dash. This might be the year for me to get one!!

    Petsmart

Presents for Roxie!! Bring on the PetSmart deals!! :)
  6. Newegg is very customer-friendly. I say they are the #1 non-BM retailer (yes, better than amazon and buy.com)
  7. I beg to differ, Nirvana! I still say Marcster is THE Smiley King. Maybe after BF, we can have a smiley duel!!
  8. The Smiley King strikes again...
  9. 4am is crazy!! Prices here don't seem to be any better than Kohl's better sales during the year.
  10. Lots of cheap DVDs!! I'm still searching for cheap HD DVDs....
  11. I think it will just get worse in future years. I'm preparing for the year that there will be no leaked ads (except maybe for Ace )
  12. Brad, you make several references to reposting the ad at some point after you take them down. Is that saying these retailers don't mind you posting the ad once they've officially released it? If that's case, I'd consider not re-posting it and advertising for them. But then again, you'd just be hurting the loyal GD'ers.
  13. Are you sure it's because of the ad you posted? Anyway, sorry to hear of this. I suspect you and all of the GD'ers will get nowhere, though, with a Target Marketing Analyst. I'm also not feeling good about the future -- there's an increasing trend of pressure by the major retailers regarding their BF ads. Good luck, Brad.
  14. I always go to KMart on T-Day, but never line up before they open. I suspect the lines won't be too long. Most people will be saving their energy for BF morning...
  15. No doorbusters?? Looks like everything is a 2-day sale. I was hoping for some HD DVDs on sale.
  16. Looks good to me. I'll be there for a few things....:)
  17. So far, I'm very pleased -- actually more than last year. The quality of the deal depends on what you need or want. Unless of course, you're looking to sell BF items on eBay. In that case, it doesn't matter if you need it or want it, what matters is only the price and if you can turn around and sell it for a nice profit on eBay.
  18. Thanks for all of the suggestions. I'm willing to spend about $500 for one, so I should be able to get a very good system, if one is on sale on BF. I'm thinking some in the $600 to $800 range might end up at about $500 on BF, which should get me nice system. I'm hoping for BB, because of my Rewardzone dollars to spend before the end of the year, but if I can find one that I want elsewhere for less, I guess I'll just have to use my Rewardzone dollars for something else at BB!! :)
  19. This is great! I've sold a fair amount, but have been too busy recently to post much. I'll be sure to add this once I get my eBay selling going again.
  20. Kourtnie, you have to have the record for lurking the longest -- your first post TWO years after joining GD?? Anyway, you can get some nice budget PCs at Dell.com or HPshopping.com right now without any long lines or rebates. Good luck!
  21. Unfortunately, that clown is probably right. There's not enough people that are upset over this AND willing to not shop there to make a difference in their BF sales. WalMart will have millions of shoppers on BF, while I'd be surprised if a few thousand don't shop there because of this. When we all finally get to see their ad in the newspaper insert, many of us will forget about our anger when we see something we really want at a great price.
  22. At my BB, I was far back in line (got there 1/2 hour before opening) and I didn't get in until 1/2 hour after the doors opened. That means I was outside in the Chicago cold for an hour. I was in there early enough to get the non-ticketed items I was looking for, then waited in a checkout line for only about 20 minutes. The line outside disappated at some point between the time I got in and when I left (30 to 50 minutes after opening).
  23. This could hurt them unless NO ONE leaked BF Ads. If their's is the only ad missing, everyone will be planning their BF around shopping for items they see in ads that are leaked. "out of sight -- out of mind!"
