Ace Hardware is going to have a 5 GB mp3 player for $99. I wouldn't be surprised to see a 1 gig one for about $50. I think the 1 gig Creative Zen Nano has been about $60 at different times this year.

Agreed. I believe the Radio Shack DVD Recorder (Presidian) is made by Liteon. Definitely worth $45 if the rumor is true. I might get it as a backup for my 2 Liteon units.

I subscribe to one paper, but they don't carry all of the ads. I need to go out and get a different paper, and yes the local stores sell their newspapers out early - typically by 9 or 10am.

The seller has pretty good feedback, so you should be safe there. As mentioned, the item will probably sell for much higher than the current bid. If this is truly a $2,000 item, don't expect this one to be of very high quality if the seller is willing to sell it for $100 or $200. That may be perfect, though, for your daughter. Check out the return policy to make sure you're comfortable with it.

Related to those who cut in line, I hate those people who come out from their cars right as the doors open and smoothly walk right in next to those who have been wating in line. Not only do they get in the store early, they never even wait in line. At least the line cutters end up waiting in line for at least a little while!

I got to my BB about 15 minutes early last year. There were a few hundred people in front of me. Once they opened it took my about a half hour to get in! Of course, they ticketed items were long gone before I got in.

I have XM and I love it. You can also listen to several of the channels online. I hear songs that I don't hear anywhere else, but unfortunately they repeat some songs on a daily basis. Most of the channels I listen to don't seem to have huge playlists. With the huge number of channels, I think it's well worth the price.

Walgreens is always good for a few excellent BF deals. There's one across the street from me so I always stop in.

My wife has been a member for about 8 months and has now earned almost $500 in reward certificates. She's now a Platinum member and earns 2.5 pts for every dollar spent. We also just got our RZ Master Card which will earn even more points when used at BB and elsewhere. We should now be getting a $5 certificate for every 70 dollars we spend there.

No more MIR's, so I wonder how good their doorbusters will be. In the past, their best sales involved MIRs. I usually stop here because they are right next to my local Best Buy.
