I was just looking through the Sears July 4th sale ad, and noticed that they have a few MIR offers. In fine print below those ads, it mentions that the MIR is an Instant Rebate in CT. Anyone live in CT and/or know why??

Just got back from mine. Wasn't any there. Only had a few desk lamps on clearance. Nice prices, but not interested in desk lamps. BTW, they had a couple Creative Muvo Mix 256 MB MP3 players on clearance for $24.50. about 50% off...

Your Pentium 4 is better than the Celeron in this deal. If it's between yours and this deal, I'd keep yours and increase the RAM. You can then always purchase a flat panel monitor elsewhere.

I bought a V-tech set last year after I signed up with Vonage. It was on sale at Best Buy at the time. The base station with 2 phones were slightly over $100 (with Digital Answering machine). I later added a third phone for another $40. It has worked perfectly for me for the last several months. I think my specific model is now discontinued, but if you're on a tight budget, you may want to look at V-tech. When I was shopping for a set, they appeared to be a little less expensive than the other popular brands.

I was thinking of getting one of these as I just bought a RAZR, but there are several poor customer reviews on amazon.com A lot of negative comments regarding volume and/or wind noise. Mugs, mrn8???

Strange. I just got back from Home Depot. They had a bunch of GE rebate forms, but it wasn't for the same quantities. My Home Depot MIR form offers up to 3 free four packs of the GE Soft White Double Life Bulbs (40, 60, 75 or 100 watt). The price per package is $1.92 so the maximum rebate is $5.76. BTW, they also offered a $10 MIR for various specialty Phillips Light Bulbs with a minumum $10 purchase of these bulbs. Includes about 16 SKUs. Maybe these rebates are regional...

Ouch! No $200 rebate plus a defective TV has to be really painful. Good luck!

Today I received my $20 rebate from my BF purchase of Spy Sweeper software at BB. This was a Mfr's rebate (Webroot) and not a BB rebate. I don't ever remember having to wait 4 months for a rebate I ever submitted. My Symantec software BF rebates came in about two weeks! Symantec has always been very prompt in processing rebates...

I clicked on the MP3 player link, and the newegg.com site is not showing me the $7 IR. I'm only seeing the $15 MIR and the $4.99 shipping. Am I missing something? Does the IR come off in the shopping cart somewhere? Thanks and great find!!
