  1. McDonald's Best Buy Bucks = 10 pound weight gain for me. Resist, resist, resist....
  2. I'd stay away. Not sure of long term reliability. For $100 more you can get a nice 32" Vizio from Sam's Club.
  3. This is going to cost them big time!!
  4. Rather pricey. You can probably get a laptop with everything you need for much less from Dell or HP. What do you need it to do? If it's just Microsoft Office type stuff, you can get a laptop for that for much less.
  5. I don't recall ever seeing any deals on the monthly service fees. You can usually find the radios on sale or with a rebate somewhere.
  6. They have these every so often around the country. I've been invited to two Chicago-area events over the past year, but have never gone as the closest one to me was about 30 miles away. If you go, have fun!
  7. I also have one that I bought when these first came out 2 years ago. Paid $115 for it!! $20 is a steal for this MP3 player.
  8. Sorry to hear about this. Is that all they took? Any damage, or were any irreplaceable items stolen?
  9. $49 rebates make me nervous. If it comes, it's a great price. If it doesn't, $50 is a lot to speng for 2GB. Decisions, decisions....
  10. Thanks Brad and congrats to all of the winners! Hmmm, now what to get...
  11. schoolboy, let us know how the trip goes. I'm planning on going later on this year. There should be dozens of web sites out there with HI tips. Have fun!
  12. Availability seems to be getting better. My local Sam's Club just had a stock of them a couple days ago. BTW, nice mom! I never gave my kids anything for good grades. If I did, I'd be broke!
  13. Don't know if you have any Uno's near you, but here's a link to their Insiders Club: http://insidersclub.unos.com/insiders/
  14. I have a 23" Olevia LCD. It's a decent TV, and the price was right -- about $350. What's the resolution on the 27" unit you're looking at?
  15. You'll have to convert your iTunes store bought music to MP3 files, then transfer them to the Sandisk player. Not sure of the easiest way to do this, but you may have to burn the iPod music onto CDs, then rip the CDs to MP3 files. You may want to post your question in the Technology forum for a quicker response. Good luck!
  16. I've never heard of Visco. Personally, I'd stay away from it. I'd also stay away from a $40 surround sound system.
  17. I've had Vonage for over a year and it works perfectly with my Comcast high speed Internet. Never had any service or billing problems.
  18. Good question. It may be soon very tough to find. If you want it, you better jump on it quick.
  19. An impressive team of new moderators! Congrats!
  20. You DO own a small business. It's called "Joonshin, Inc."
  21. Sams is my only choice, but I like them. We go once every week or two. It's actually less than one mile from my house.
  22. Another vote for the Flamingo. Nice hotel, great location and very reasonable pricing. I hate Circus-Circus. Always very crowded and tons of little kids running under your feet. I would not consider LV very family-friendly. The strip is built on gambling, drinking and adult shows. If you must take small kids, then stay at Circus-Circus (as Marcster said). LV is probably very little fun for mid to late teens -- can't gamble, can't drink, too old for Circus-Circus. They would enjoy many of the non-adult shows, though.
  23. Used them for 2 years and never had a single problem.
