I bought one at BB a couple weeks ago for $199 with 10 free movies. This player works great, and it also does an awesome job at upconverting standard definition DVDs.
My first stop of the day was at our local Sears Grand. Since it's laid out like a Target, they have 14 cash registers up front. Can you believe they had only 5 of the 14 registers open in prime doorbuster time?? People were furious. If you have 14 cash registers and you don't have them all open today, when would you have them all open??? By the time we left, they were up to about 7 or 8 lanes open. Absolutely pathetic. And to top it all off, their machines wouldn't accept credit cards, so they had to imprint everyone's card. Sounds like Sears.com is having their troubles as well. I know I couldn't get any of the items I wanted yesterday online at the correct prices.
Some of these items are sold for very little margin, so 10% over cost may not be so hot. You'll need to specify the exact item and cost to get an opinion.
Well, with much help from Marcster, this thread, and Brad's link to JR.com, I just bought the TomTom One, 3rd addition from JR.com for $129.99 + $6.95 shipping and NO tax. Best of all, NO waiting in cold BF lines!!
I finally made the decision and bought the TTO 3rd additon from JR for $129.99 + $6.95 shipping and NO tax. No cold lines for me on BF! (at least not for the GPS, )Thanks for the link, Brad.
Just got back from my local Radio Shack. The Mgr said they have "plenty" of the sale GPS units ready to go for Friday morning. Still haven't decided which one to get. I am leaning toward the tomtom One 3rd edition.
