  1. According to the info I read about this it starts 1/20 and will continue for 7 days or until stock of the items they are giving away is gone.
  2. I was checking out the $48 bistro set. Great deal until I checked the shipping which was $210!
  3. Usually, it is just my mom and me. She's the driver. I go in and grab everything while she makes a circuit of the parking lot. By the time she has gone around once, I am usually back out with the loot in the time we would have spent just finding a parking spot. This year, I think that will change. My friends have found out about my great deals and are saying they are going to block my driveway that morning unless I take them with me!
  4. We have the standard stores that are local: Lowes, Menards, Sears, Home Depot, Best Buy. I found a Tappen at Lowes, but have no idea how good it is. ANyone have any suggestions? Codes or discounts would be great also. Any help appreciated! I have never had a dishwarsher before, so I have absolutely no experience with them.
  5. I hit the 75% off section. I got 8 of the gel face masks at $1.50 each (jus waiting for christmas). I bought one for myself last year at BBW and paid $12.00.

  7. Does anyone have any current Quill coupon codes? I can use up to 5 on every order and I only have one that has not expired (NQT $20 off $100 order)
  8. Great deal! What city/state did you find this? Also what brand and thickness is it? Thanks!
  9. Beware the extended "Warranty" plans! We bought a large freestanding craftsman sander from Sears withthe extended warranty (WHAT A JOKE!) It went out within a year (still under the original warranty period). I called service and it took them 3 weeks to arrive and we live within 5 minutes of a full service Sears store. He took it apart and left it sitting in pieces spread out in our garage taking up 5 times as much space as originally. We were then told it was past the warranty one year when I called to as when they were coming back. It seems the one year expired while waiting for him to come back.We never saw anyone again. I told them we had the extended warranty and they said OK. It took 8 months of calls and yelling to get a replacement. To top it off, I had charged the original purchase to my Sears Card. They charged the repalcement to my CC. I refuded to pay it. After 2 years of arguments, they took me to court for an unpaid CC and now the court said I owe them $1800 for FC and late fees and nonpayment ( there was nothing else charged to the card ever). So my $450 sander cost me $2250, almost a year of no tool trying to get it replaced, and I still had the mess of the old one spread out throughout my workshop that they NEVER CAME BACK to repair!
  10. We not longer have kids in my family young enough for easter to be a big deal. BUt when we did, my grand mother would stock up on lots of small items. After we got our Easter baskets we would empty them except the grass and put them on her back porch outside. We would keep checking bak all day to see what the EB had dropped off when we weren't there. It was great fun for the kids and the adults had a great time all afternoon trying to get new stuff into the baskets without the kids seeing. As soon as one of the kids were to old for the Easter bunny they were recruited to fill the baskets, which kept the whole family included in the game. When my grandmother ran out of candy (or the adults got tired!), she would leave a note in the basket from the Easter Bunny say they had run out of candy and would see us next year. It was great fun all afternoon for everyone.
  11. I currently have a iPod shuffle (512). I have a chance to upgrade to a larger memory MP3, but it will have to be a Sandisk brand. Will the music I have for my iPod shuffle work with the Sandisk. I have heard that some are not compatable. I don't have much time to find out. I found a sale at an office supply store I use at work for $15 off a $75 purchase tht ends 2/28/07. If I use this with the gift certificate I have I can get a 1Gig Sandisk for $15, but it would be really dificult if I have to give up all my music files and start again. If I have to do that, I might was well wait for a good deal on a iPod.
  12. I hit our local Walmart just as their Christmas items went 75% off. They had 2 isles of bath and lotion gift sets that were $12 to $20, now at $2 to $3 (some were ringing up at even more than 75% off:D ) I grabbed about 20 of them. Every woman I know will be getting bath and lotion gift set for birthdays, christmas, whatever this year. I made sure I got one that were not "CHristmas" scents. They come in nice baskets and containers. Now all I have to do is open them up, get rid of any christmas packaging and regroup (to mix up the scents and make them more interesting). Now it looks like I went to a lot of trouble shopping arount for all of the product and container and it looks personalized because I put it together myself. No one needs to know that the gift they get that looks like I spent a lot of money on really only cost $1 or $2!
