Check out Kohls.com or go into Kohl's. They have dress shirts in the clearance section all the time, and I usually get mine for $15 or less.

Do you have a Sam's Club or Costco near you? We joined Sam's club and the savings on Huggies paid the membership in just 4 months.

I have a Samsung internal 18x DVD writer w/Lightscribe and so far it's been a good drive. It's only 5 months old, though, so I can't speak to the longevity of the drive. I also have a Samsung DVD writer in my laptop and it's been going for about 1.5 years. Anyway, my experience with them has been good so far.

The Rock River Arms kits are probably the best value for the money. Kits save you quite a bit of money and you get the advantage of fully assembling and customizing, so you know everything about it when you first take it out. You aren't really going to be able to find an entirely online deal, because you will have to buy through an FFL dealer. I have looked at www.gunsamerica.com in the past, but have found that gun shows and used selections at local dealers are the best places to find something for a better price.

What's your budget for this TV? A couple of things to consider with them are to make sure the viewing angle works for the room you'll have it in. Head to a local store and stand off to the side of the TV and make sure the quality will be good at all the distances and angles that you have seating for. The other thing is to make sure it has a tuner. Some brands sell HDTVs that don't have a tuner built in, so it's essentially a monitor. My personal preference on LCD TV's is Samsung. I've read favorable reviews on them and when I see them in-store, I am always impressed with the picture that they put out. A quick look at Amazon.com shows that you can get a Samsung 32" LCD HDTV for less than $900.

8"x6" Graphic Tablet for $39 + shipping at Geeks.com
mrn8 replied to Scott's topic in Online Hot Deals
Just general use, really. Menu and tool selection, mostly. It should work fine, since those are basically just "mouse" movements. The biggest thing is, I'd like to know how sensitive it is. What my Wacom tablet has started to do is when the mouse is within about 1/2" of the tablet, it starts to pick up on movement, and that's way too sensitive. -

I know it's not a graphics program, but usability in NVU would be nice. I use the Wacom tablet in that app, because it's easier than going back and forth from a mouse to the pen. -

That's a great deal. I wonder how well it works...my 4x5 Wacom tablet is getting to the end if it's life, I think, and it's hard to get up the will to pay $150 - $200 for another Wacom. -
Yeah, we can always get them there, and I believe they are $5.99 (or $7.99?) for the first 2lb bag and $.01 for the 2nd.

Check out the Dell outlet. Lots of great deals on refurbed and returned notebooks. The refurbs from Dell have great reliability, as the quality control on them is much higher than a new one.

If you go through HP you can configure their super-compact series (s3000y) computers with Vista Home Premium, Core 2 Duo, 1Gb Memory, 250GB HDD, remote and tuner for less than $800. That is probably out of the ballpark for cheap, though, and you can build similar for around $400-$500.

The Dell outlet has some Dimension Desktops with Windows Vista Home Premium, 160GB HDD, 1GB RAM, DVD-Rom for around $300-$350.

Are you looking for a Desktop / Tower or something that will fit into their entertainment center? Do you want Windows MCE or Windows Vista or no OS at all?

It stopped updating periodically, but I haven't used it in FF since yesterday. It's been flawless in Opera, so that's what I've got it running on.
-
You may know this, but yours seems to be buggy when run in Firefox. It seems to be doing just fine in Opera, though, so I've got it running there.

Anything that's cheap will be on par with the Gevalia coffee makers, so I would 2nd that route. The current offer is the stainless steel pot and coffee scoop for free. Just place the order with the coffee and cancel after you receive everything. I've done it a few times and their coffee makers look nice and make coffee just as well as your typical Mr Coffee, Black & Decker, Cuisinart, etc.... Here's the offer page: http://www.gevalia.com/Gevalia/continuity/enroll/join_kaffe.aspx If you want to get one that will last you forever and make excellent coffee, pick up a Bunn home coffee maker. You can also use it for instant hot water for cooking and beverages, because it uses a resevoir system. I think it's the only maker in the $100 range that's actually worth the money. The next best thing is a $15-$20 french press. Bunn Home Coffee Maker 8-cup Coffee Press

Samsung ML-2010 Monochrome Laser Printer - $69.98 Shipped AR @ Staples
mrn8 replied to Brad's topic in Online Hot Deals
I have one of these at home and bought one for my sister when she started college. Honestly, it's a great printer and it saves a lot of money on printing to the inkjet printer. In fact, I think the inkjet printer is getting almost no use anymore. The only thing that may be a down-side is that it's noisy when it starts up, but once it's warmed and ready it's not that bad. I get my cartridges at 4inkjets.com and always have a 15% off coupon to add on. That brings it to $41.64 for a 3000 page yield toner. -
My wife and I picked up some nice rackets at Dick's Sporting Goods a couple of years back and have been very happy with them. They are Head brand and were about middle-of-the-road priced.

If you want any help finding a camera to fit your needs and budget, we'd be happy to help. The Canon A550 is a great camera, 4x optical zoom, 7.1mp, and it comes in around $180. There are even lower cost options, especially if you keep your eyes open for a good deal.

Nice catch, GDM. I think I will pick some up for grad gifts. -
What are you wanting to use it for? It's really a very low-quality camera. It has one aperature speed (f2.8), which is not good. You need a range to get consistently good pictures. It also does not have an optical zoom, which is a must. Digital zoom is worthless, and I actually turn it off on all of my cameras, because I don't like it when the zoom crosses from optical to digital.
