I've actually found that when Milwaukee is on the end of the tour, they've been looser and have a lot more fun...but that's the west group and you guys get the east group, so who knows.

You really don't want a snowboard that comes to below your chin if it's standing up. Judging by his height and weight, I'd say he's still growing, so get him something in the 145-154cm range. Shorter than chin usually is good for tricks, at eye level is a very good all-around board length, and taller than eyes is usually for more advanced riders, but he'll grow into anything that height pretty quickly. He needs an adult board at this point, and even for a kid's board, 100cm is very short. A good place to start may be on Craigslist, though. I've seen lots of nice boards go for great prices and many of them include bindings and sometimes boots. Another option is to see if any kids in his club have outgrown equipment that they are now going to sell.

How tall is your son and how much does he weigh?

I ordered my tickets last Thursday and got great seats again this year. 5th row floor seats, just a little left of center stage. :) 2 rows closer than last year!

I don't think it will be any stretch to see a 22" for under $200. They already run around $230, if you watch for them.

If you want to use Buy.com, go with the Linksys WRT54G. It's a solid and reliable router. I've got some still running that are 3 years old, whereas I've never had a Netgear or Belkin last more than 9 months. http://www.buy.com/prod/linksys-wireless-g-broadband-router-wrt54g/q/loc/101/10336386.html If you are willing to buy elsewhere, I'd recommend a Buffalo WHR-HP-G54. They have great range and run reliably. You can also load a 3rd party firmware on it (takes a little work, but it's not that hard) to really open up it's capabilities. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833162134

Visa gift cards for everyone. Let them fight the crowds, let them find the deals! OK, that probably won't be what happens, but I always consider it.

That all depends on how you define it.

Marcster - I was just drooling over that same grill at Sam's yesterday. It's nice and solid and you've got to love having storage and "counter-space" on a charcoal grill. For an awesome grill that just lasts forever, get the Weber One-Touch Gold (http://www.amazon.com/Weber-751001-2-Inch-One-Touch-Charcoal/dp/B00004RALR/ref=sr_1_1/002-0534846-5728868?ie=UTF8&s=garden&qid=1179755184&sr=1-1). All it takes is about 2 sheets of newspaper to light these, so no more lighter fluid all over the grill and coals. :)

Here's a great Canon camera for $117.20 shipped: http://www.amazon.com/Canon-PowerShot-Digital-Camera-Optical/dp/B000MF4Z4A/ref=sr_1_9/002-0534846-5728868?ie=UTF8&s=photo&qid=1179244412&sr=1-9 You can get it for less at Buy.com if you use Google Checkout: http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=204080930&SearchEngine=PriceGrabber&SearchTerm=204080930&Type=PE&Category=Elec&dcaid=15890 It takes SD cards, which you can usually find pretty inexpensively. I've gotten a couple of 2GB cards for under $20.

Canon Powershot A550- good camera?
mrn8 replied to christyshular's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Yes, it's a great camera. I'm sure you'd be very happy with it. I've owned 2 Canon cameras so far, and wouldn't hesitate to buy another. Here's 2 good reviews on that model: http://www.steves-digicams.com/2007_reviews/a550.html http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/specs/Canon/canon_a550.asp -
Garmin is probably the best value and featured GPS for cars. I haven't dealt much with the off-brand GPS units, because they have not yet proven themselves. The Garmin c3xx series is the entry level for automotive GPS. The c330 is an excellent unit, and the price is probably right where you are looking. Check the prices here: http://gottadeal.pricegrabber.com/search_getprod.php/masterid=7247527/search=Garmin%20C330. Abe's of Maine is a very reliable store and have it for under $260 shipped. Otherwise, it looks like you can pick one up locally at Circuit City for $299 + tax.

There is a huge range of GPS devices out there for different purposes, so it would be helpful to know what you intent to use it for. Will it be in the car, used for hiking / outdoor activities? Generally speaking, you can't go wrong with anything that Garmin puts out. I've got a handheld Garmin that I use for hunting, biking, and backpacking. It's completely waterproof and always works for me.
