a video card upgrade would be needed if the kids want to play games. i think these require a slim line type of video card which doesn't give you a whole lot of selections but i can be wrong and it could take a typical PCI-E type card.

you cant exactly upgrade these SLIM tower designs can you? i wasn't able to find a similiar deal on the 400 model or the normal 200... like rossman said great deal for the average user but the door might be closed when it comes down to upgrading.

do i just call and they come out for free? I have a direct TV or DISH network dish in the rear. I've looked on my block and everyone has sats pointing toward the rear of my house. Some have them placed on the garage. but I have one mounted on the wall from the previous owner.

So i'm jumping on that choice extra programing Free install/ delievery 200 channels w/ 3 months of free prem. channels for $35/ 12 months then $55/6 months. 18 month contract. 4 free recievers, $5 extra month per box rental. I'll be most likely doing this over the phone. So first person to PM with the referral information. I assume promo number code, gets the $50 for us both.

dish network... eh... the contract honestly doesn't bother much. I do have the fear of chicago's winter/wind messing things up. Hence i never got a dish of any sort. But it seems like $10 more and we have a LOT more selection. I'll have to look up Dish network and compare. I always thought dish network and direct-TV are the same people in the long run.

i just looked it up.. i'll be tagged with a 18 month agreement. Free dish, I can get ONE free DVR but then again i think i would need to sign up for service to be able to use it. They are also giving all the movie channels free for the first 3 months. So i mean it seems loaded or somewhat loaded. X-mas is nearing so i figure there would be more offers now then any other time.

Well talked it over with parents are we all decided to get directv. We have basic digital cable with no premium channels thru comcast and are paying about 45$. Directv seems to have a $20 off for 12 months promo going on now and their normal price for tv is 54.99 and then it seems like starz is a good movie channel to add on.. either that or HBO for $12.99 and box leasing fees are $15 for 3 extra boxes. all in all its about $75 bucks without the 20$ per month promo which is good in my eyes due to the fact that we are paying $45 bucks now for next to nothing. We dont have any HD-TV's or any real need for DVRs. Now are they any more hidden promo's on can ask for. I've heard they give you switching promos when you drop comcast and go dish or was that fliped around. i was thinking maybe some type of speical discount like i know DSL thru bestbuy you get a $150 GC if you buy a PC. something like those things might come in handy.

when i work as a tech at a VW dealership. Car came in with geico insurnace. She told me her story about how she got hit at the passenger side front/ mid area and well the impact was strong enough to bunch her slightly off the curb on the driver side. While i quoted up the doors and everything she also told me if i can confirm that everything is in PERFECT shape under the car wise as it was only 1.5 years old and she had 2 kids, full time mom. I quoted up the doors and sent it over to the body shop for their quote. Then i drove it, while there was no frame damage what so ever there was a bend in the rear axle and at higher speeds it would wobble. I put it on the alignment machine and it was within the specs but it was within the max allowable specs on one side and the opposite on the other side. The geico guy deny my claim on the rear axle beam and told me according the machine everything is aligned and well left her high and dry. $3000 for everything done out of her own pocket. I was rather pissed at them. But every company and every guy is different.

i just got the email from CC about the camera. it comes in pink so i think thats a plus. i didn't see a memory card. i saw $45 get 1gb and pouch. can you link me? to where it exactly says free card.

mainly point and shoot. $100-125 area. specs are not really cared for. just a fairly sized screen now a days. 2.2 -2.6 would be ideal. i missed out on a fujiflim and but now i have cash in hand/ on card to buy it instantly./

Trying to keep within a budget of $350-400. I would like to get 2-4 gifts. She is a college student. I recently bought her a MDA and then a blackberry. Main gift i was looking at would be mp3/video player. there are a lot out buti would like 200-250 on this. She wants to hang in with her college friend crowds. Other gifts i'm thinking a nice lotion package from bath and beyond but aside from that i dont know what to get. Some small careing gift would be ideal. The mp3 gift is what she wants but its too of a generic gift for me. I've made on own gifts in the past and i think i'm done with that.

Core Duo i think its just the name of the processor, like centrino and stuff. single core looks like it to me. But i'm not 100% just about 80%

i love best buy's deal but i hate the setups that they make you do in order to pay. they wrapp around the store making a huge circle and its rather annoying, because its mainly blocked off, so ppl cant cut in but you cant pick up other items while in line either. this is at my local store
