Atari is old fashioned? I've still got my original Atari from when I was a kid. Yep, it still works. Oh, and Target, Walmart, etc carry the Atari Flashback, which comes preloaded with a good selection of games.

What phone are you looking for? Verizon offers excellent deals on phones via their website. Just log into your account and choose the upgrade phone option. There's no activation fee for phones purchased through their website, either. I just saw the Moto RAZR phones free this past week, with 2 year contract. That was with 1 year still left on the contract. They also had some great Samsung (A930) and LG phones free.

Why do you tempt me like this? My trusty PowerShot S110 still works great...but it's a whole 5mp lower. If you didn't plan on using the printer, you could probably get $60 out if it on eBay or Craigslist.

Talk to a manager when you are buying and see what they can do for you. A lot of times if they sense they'll lose the sale without the no interest on the CC, they will give it to you. I got my TV / DVD Changer that way a couple of years ago.

The Creative Zen Vision: M is around $220 at Amazon.com. It also comes with $20 in free "Amazon Unbox" video downloads, so she can get a couple of videos on it right away. It's a great device and if she wants a MP3 player with video capability, it's one of the best. It comes in a nice variety of colors as well. I asked my wife about "fufu" gifts (lotions, etc) and she said to find a Cosmetics Company Store (Estee Lauder outlet), which are at most prime outlets. She said they have awesome gift bags with lotions and perfumes that are very good and that employees typically make good recommendations. She recommended Clinique Happy and Estee Lauder Beyond Paradise sets. You can get them at the Estee Lauder counters in stores like Boston Store, but they are really expensive there.

We're still figuring that out. I like to make a big breakfast and then do the gifts. My wife's family always saved the gifts until after dinner is done and cleaned up. There's no reason that either of us really has for it, other than that's the way it always was.

Best Buy does their doorbuster / major BF sales in-store only. Their internet sales are usually not BF-worthy deals. Of course, last year their site kept crashing from redesign flaws and being hammered for sales.

For entertainment between missions: Books, MP3 Player, CDs (full of mp3s purchased legally), DVDs, video games (if you know they have a console available). Useful: Knives (Gerber Gator is nice), Multi-Tool (Leatherman, Gerber), nice pens, notebooks / envelopes / postage.
