  1. Was it all in one piece, or was this a few items made to work either together or separately? As an example at Costco I've seen tool bench and cabinets that you can buy separate, but they will fit with each other size and looks wise. The Sears near me just had a $60 toolwall on clearance for ~$20, pegboard with shelving, lighting, and electrical outlets built in.
  2. Usually I dislike changes for the sake of changes...especially appearance ones since often functionality is then discarded for "the look"... but this is nice, and I don't know if it's optimized or just doing more with less, but it loads significantly faster for me too.
  3. Dell has it for $296.65 right now! http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=A0620511 That also includes FREE shipping
  4. woke up at 7am, went back to bed, alarm went off at 8am, wife and I up at 830....at SIL's with 4 kids under 7...I'm tucked away at dinner table with laptop
  5. Have to complain about a rebate on a monitor--bought a monitor with different refund dates, model number, SKU, and UPC, and they are denying on the basis of "duplicate" rebates. Grrrrr....
  6. HOLY SMOKES Went to the Detroit show last night--they are bigger and better then ever this was my *counts fingers* 5th year in a row seeing them I think. I wore a suit and the womenfolk () wore dresses. People dressed every which way, and the demographics are nutty! People bringing Grandma and Grandpa, little kids, the clad-in-leather biker crowd, the clad-in-old Slayer shirts crowd...everyone under the sun. Insane crowd in Detroit as always (I can barely talk today) and I think I'm deaf in one ear now. Nice touch, I finally got to see Paul O'Neill (he may have been the first year, but I wouldn't have known). Also mention of the 2nd anniversary of Dimebag Darrell's passing as well as "Diamond" Daryl Pediford. Chris Caffery (the manic lead guitar and stage leader) post on his website tonight: Detroit Wins!
  7. Apparently they had Ian Hunter (Mott the Hoople) show up and he did "Cleveland Rocks" and "All the Young Dudes" with them. So I'm guessing he had a blast. I'm kind of disappointed, my brother and his wife won't be able to get down here (car trouble) we bought them tickets as a wedding gift. We are able to get our money back though, we are selling the tickets.
  8. I'm pretty sure you got the West group this year...and it was one of the first shows--the East had some kinks early on too this year. If I remember right the MSG show last year was almost at the end of December, they're pretty polished by then. They apparently did some changes with the vocals for the West this year, so the narrator may have been new...this is one of the few years where the East is the same as the previous year (though the band has been pretty constant). One of the West girls was on the Rockstar (??) show this summer/fall (the one with Tommy Lee anyway) as a contestant. I'm so pumped for this years show, even with the cruddy seats...I'm all the way back in row 22, right side...we've been dead center ~row 10 for the last few years. I like seeing all the on-stage action but it will be great nonetheless. I love the fact that you yelled Chris Caffery is one of the guitars (and frontman) for the East group, last years Detroit show is on his list as one of the best audiences ever they've had (out of like maybe 10 over the years of touring) so hopefully the Motor City can come through again this year! I even noticed it early in last years show--so many people are going back now, that they have an idea of the playlist and who the culprits are, the cheers are starting before songs and standing O's after most of them. It is a weird show to go to--it's not *quite* a rock concert....though that's exactly what it is We saw them first at the Detroit Opera House--not quite a rock & roll stronghold Now they are at the Palace of Auburn Hills (basketball arena for any not familiar) and pulling in 12,000. Anyway...glad to see so many are liking the shows...AND GREAT VIDEOS BUNNIESx3!!!
  9. If you have any left, what would shipping to Livonia, MI 48154 be?
  10. Great! (and, I mean it too, you are going to LOVE the show) now on to my regularly scheduled rant: I didn't get any. Canceled both orders. Gave me a 13 minute wait on the first though I was literally sitting there hammering F5, 2nd computer fell victim to their overloaded 486 running Win95 on a dialup line, reset the connection, by the time I got through that wait was 25 minutes. Both tried putting me up in the lower bowl, screw that jazz, I'm here for the floor seats dead center! Clearchannel is *TERRIBLE*, TSO really needs to switch to Ticketmaster next year. Going to wait and hit the ticket resellers later.
  11. Right, there is an "East Coast" and "West Coast" band. I've only ever seen the East, though the West is supposed to be pretty strong in it's own right.
  12. obstructed view? are you a midget? I have had great luck so far with our floor seats :cheesy:
  13. Yeah I had to do a search for it...I never should've put Christmas in the title. Now half the people in the Lounge will probably never see it. Just what I was aiming for by posting it there
  14. Yeah I dunno if joining this late will help, hopefully. I *think* you can get to the presale just by going to the tour page, but not 100% sure (though have the page loaded early--it crumbled last year under the load). Even so, you should still be able to get pretty good seats. I like the *really* good seats though, we saw them at the Detroit Opera House in 2002 and have since been around row 10, center section at the Palace of Auburn Hills Last year we bought a bunch of tickets, I believe 13 for ourselves (we bring guests every year) and my wife's brother bought 9. Planning on just buying 7 this year.
