My Kids LOVE the videos! They've not complained about quality - speed - sound - nothing.

Do you have a spot in her room you can set up a small tree? give her some scraps of wrapping paper, and let her wrap presents for her stuffed animals/dolls/etc. The stuff under the other tree she can't touch - but she has her very own tree.... Being Jewish - we do not have a tree - and we do not have this problem. Now if I were to leave an unwrapped toy out... because I hadn't wrapped it yet... my kids would have a serious struggle to maintain their self-control.

Actually, at most of the large retail establishments this is your job! It is annoying as all heck when the clerks continuously ask if they can help, but I have been subject to the training, rating, and videos that they have to cope with, and I understand.

Ok, this will sound bad, but I am glad. that is not something she could have prevented. Chances are you, or I, or any of us would have totaled the car in that situation. See what the insurance will cover, and what kind of magic you can work in looking for another car. there is nothing wrong with her helping... working a PT job and putting some of it into the car fund... nor should it be a requirement. I hope you enjoyed your thanksgiving together.

eh - don't go. volunteer at the homeless shelter. We deal with it by breaking the family into small groups, and visiting with just a few at a time (keeping the feuding members apart) we live hours away and are not involved in the day-to-day squabbles. Tis a wonderful thing
