  1. how old are they? given all the great deals here, we could probably find you something cheap (or free) to include them in the family. The kids did not make the decision to merge families. They did not participate in the fight between their step mom and her brother... they are not responsible for any of it. Please do not take it out on them. Holidays are about families, and togetherness and inclusion... if you can, include them.
  2. No one should expect these sorts of calls at home... especially as we are not talking about major political decisions being made here. This is unfortunate. I am hopeful he has caller ID or something that can be used to follow up on this.
  3. not much of a difference, some times...
  4. I am not mad. I am disappointed. I want a retraction of their threat of legal action. the ad is of much less importance
  5. maybe someone should call and tell him to try again
  6. Brad - can we clear up the access issue and let him see what we are saying?
  7. Thanks! A speedy and detailed response, just how I like them!
  8. there are 136,110 registered users (I assume this includes the banned members as well) is there a way to discern active members from banned, or those that have been absent more than 15 months?
  9. heee heee, poor Angela.
  10. ok, I sent off my message to Mr. Simley
  11. You can get a desktop for less than $400 at Best Buy now. It has plenty of power for an 8 or 10 yr old, why do staples?
  12. sure they have a right to bring suit- but not an obligation! I will go to one store rather than 4 which not only brings my money to them (although, yes, I buy loss leaders) I will buy other things as well - and I WON't Spend my Money at their competitors.
  13. Brad - where is that quoted from?
  14. geeze - that might be worth driving for! ty
  15. use it as bait for fishing - but not dale & thomas, it is too yummy....
  16. email to Sarah bounced
  17. I emailed....
  18. can someone compile the list of direct emails, names and phone #'s? I can't bring myself to go thru the 14 pages for it...
  19. Yup, my DD has come BF shopping with me, very helpful, as she was small enough to go through crowds, and hey - I have to stay with my kid :)
  20. Around here, we (I would be the DIL) get less now that there are kids. This is how it should be. Everyone has something to open, but not too much. Once you have kids - or make more money than me - I move you to the "adult" column. I am much harder to shop for than DH (so everyone tells me) and I don't need anything.... If he is counting gifts, I would start making donations to worth causes in his name.
  21. Dear Santa, I know you don’t get a lot of letters from Jewish kids (or grown-ups) but don’t be thrown off, my kids believe in you with all of their heart, and are thrilled you know where Papa lives! As you know this year has been tough for the kids, especially my son. The school has been a great help, and they are doing what they can. I would love it if my son were to receive a Digital Pen writing system! Hopefully it will make writing fun and thus encourage him to practice. Do not blame him, as you can plainly see, my handwriting is so bad that I have to type this for you to be able to read it, and Dad’s handwriting isn’t much better. I can’t say he’s been good… but he is trying! If this gift were to arrive under Papa’s tree I could see lots of multiple-page dissertations on why a particular pokemon is better than another, or how the evolutionary path it has taken is particularly stunning… this would allow him to share with other poke-geeks and that would be a great gift for me! Also, if you could please send something bright and colorful to distract his sister so she does not steal his great gift……………………. L’Chiam! Conj
  22. I am not buying my boss anything as a Xmas gift. I get ornaments for everyone in the office... but I don't buy Xmas gifts for coworkers. saying that... my boss is my friend, and I will likely get her a present which will be given outside of work
  23. the limit is $35, not the minimum, right? I would tell them the limit is out of your comfort zone, and pick a number that is reasonable to you. We have a $10 limit in our office... amazing what $10 can buy!
  24. When I called before, they said someone would call me, no one has, now I have my own reason to call back! It will have to be after work, so I can't do 11am or 1pm, nor do I want to break their email system... there are some poor customers out there who do not have knowledge of GottaDeal and have to fight their own battles with the big Goliath, we don't want to limit their access..... ps, kind of like the phrase "Nanny, nanny, boo, boo".....
