give him the Wii for Xmas. Give him GAMES for the wii if he brings his grades up and PROVES it. Give him other accessories (or some of the other gifts) if he cleans up his act at home. Let him know - in writing - what he has to do to get them. Stick to it.

I am planning on buying books for my DS classroom from Softbooks (a buck or 2 a pop) and have asked his teachers to pick out some titles they do not have yet. I used this site to figure out what would be the next step up from what he is reading now (Bailey school kids, cam jansen, Dragon SLayer's academy) and found Beast Quest - anyone familiar with it?

Ok, it is happening again.. top posters is missing...

SOmeone had a great answer for that... I was just discussing it this week: You (child) get presents from Santa... and Your parents, and grandparents and such. Yes, Santa will bring them a present, but their family can't afford to buy any presents and that made the whole family feel bad, so we'll help everyone feel better.

they don't have the things in the store either... But you won't know that till you drive there..
