  1. Does anyone have the rebate form from this deal? I just got mine today and there's only a $10 rebate form online now. Before it was $20 or $25 I think.
  2. The best place I've ever found for Mach3 blades is eBay. They run slightly higher than $1 per blade (for Turbo). But if you go that route, your best bet is to buy them ~40 at a time.
  3. Yeah, the Elura 90. Any accessories I should pick up right off the bat besides an extra battery and some tapes? Already have a firewire cable. I suppose we'll need a bag. Jenni has a tripod/monopod.
  4. SCORE!!! So if they had 25% off and $60 off $500, would it be: $699 * .75 = $524.25 - $60 = $464.25 OR $699 - $60 = $639 * .75 = $479.25 ? Either way, sweet deal! :)
  5. It seems the main substantive differences are that the 90 has a built-in light, a better night-shot mode, longer max focal distance, microphone jack, more zoom. The light would definitely be nice.
  6. Elura 80, 85 or 90... I'm honestly not sure what the difference between them is other than the zoom.
  7. Looks like they haven't had anything better than 25% off in a long time: http://www.gottadeal.com/dell.php?category=camcorders Also looks like another one will be coming out very soon.
  8. I noticed that they have the 25% off coupons a lot. Anyone know when the next one is coming up?
  9. Costco :thumbsup; Their Kirkland brand products are usually as good as or BETTER THAN brand name equivalents (undershirts being a good example where they're better than brand names). When I finally get through the 48 pack of AAs I got last year, I'm switching to rechargeables (also cheap at Costco) :)
  10. http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=LANPACK&cpc=SCH $13 shipped for 5 (to NJ)
  11. I'm looking for one too if DigDoug is not interested in Beau's. It doesn't even need to be able to make bread, just dough. :)
  12. Do you have a Costco membership?
  13. If you're willing to buy your DVDs 8 at a time, Columbia House is the way to go pretty much. Last time I did it, their best code gave you 8 DVDs for ~$60 after tax and shipping. Not sure what's best now.
  14. I think I would actively participate.
  15. This is a shot in the dark, but what's the best place to buy this stuff? I'm looking for RG-6 cable, this tool and the type of connectors it uses (these). I checked Home Depot last night, it's ~$60 for the tool, $12 for 100 foot of RG-6 cable, and the connectors would be either 4 for $5 or 50 for $29. It will probably take me years to use 50 of them... but I hate paying twice as much to get lower quantities. I don't forsee finding this tool for less than $50 which sucks, because it's a really nice tool and it makes it so easy to make the cables.
  16. That is a good deal, do they have snow tires there?
  17. Do they have the $100 off the queen sized matress/box spring coupon in there? I'm pissed, they haven't mailed it to me. I guess I'll go to the customer service desk and see if I can get one.
  18. I will. I've noticed that the two local Targets still have a lot of stuff in stock. It's only 30% off now, it'll be at least 50% off after Christmas. They have a CRAPLOAD of storage bins.
  19. Maybe they dressed well to attract less attention to themselves... they probably stole the clothes too. :)
  20. I'll have to give them a call too. They're deliberately vague there, I'm guessing that means you get two two-tuner receivers. That won't work for me, I need three receivers, because only two of the rooms are close enough to each other to run the wires.
  21. Alright I think I understand now... I set it up to have DVRs for 3 rooms and a standard receiver for 1 room. I think what they did is they gave me two DVRs and one standard receiver, and one of the DVRs gets shared between two rooms. That's why there are only two DVR fees and two extra receiver fees. That should work. I'm going to have to call them and make sure everything is what I expect it to be and that there aren't any hidden charges.
  22. This is interesting: I assume that's to prevent you from stealing service, but how strict are they about that? If you unplug the thing for 30 seconds to put a splitter in or something, do they charge you? Sucks that I'll have to run a phone line to every TV in the house.
  23. http://www.dishnetwork.com/content/getdish/dha/index.shtml I honestly can't figure out what the "catch" is!
  24. I'll look into DirecTV's options. With Dish Network it's looking like we could get the 120 channel package with 3 DVRs and one regular receiver for about what we're paying for cable now... pretty good deal.
