I posted this is the walmart TOY clearance thread, but since it's not just toys... at my walmart today, they announced half off ALL red-tagged clearance items...all areas

I'm not sure about the Target items that go to charity here, but I CAN tell you (from someone I know who works at the Goodwill), the staff goes through all the donations, picks out what they want, and a LOT of it is shipped to a bigger city about an hour from here. If they do the same thing with the Target salvage items, I'm positive the staff will grab them all up and do whatever they want with them, IF they left any, I bet they'd go to the big city and I'd never get the chance

I got the awesome multi game table (fooseball, basketball, table tennis etc) was over $100 down to $24!!! also got the dart board with electronic score for 6.98 and a swanky extra dart supply set to go with it no boots no rival fountain and had to take back my awesome rival roaster...it was missing important parts and they didn't have any more in the store and didn't have the parts that really bummed me out

OMG! I'll have to go to our mall and see if our Waldenbooks is there! Since it's right down the hall from Target and Old Navy, it'll be worth it

I was at a different Target yesterday (about an hour away from me), NOTHING!! UGH What they did have was exactly the same prices as here at home...not the GREAT prices some of you are finding oh well...maybe there's great stuff to be had this week :)

There are TWO bar codes on the Science Wiz boxes...every time I'm in there scanning those things, I always seem to scan the wrong one first! lol Look on the bottom, one is on each 'side'

got the rival roaster for 14.98, it was the last one in the store and the box was in terrible condition, but can't beat the price (I know some of you got it for 7**, but since it's the last one, I grabbed it)...missed out on the beverage fountain and knives Just got an invitation for a baby shower in two weeks, so went to the baby section...all the clearance is gone It's just not my Target week I guess

sure call...just like we all called about layaway.... it's sad

back to Target today....nada! the beverage fountain is still 24.99, the knife and fork set 9.98, roaster 24.99 oh well

The Science Wiz kit is STILL regular price at ours I scan it every day though... I got a few deals: footed sleepers (boys) 3.74 gloves 50% mens leather driving gloves 7.28 boys (medium weight) jacket was 29.99 got it for 6.48 clearance toys are all gone aisles look very bare did a perimeter walk and nothing good there either There is a carving knife, fork and case set that is normally 19.99 clearanced for 9.98...I'd like to get that for a bit less, so I'm gonna keep looking...our store still had some of the i-lamps too...no idea who I'd get one for, so I left those there

cruised my Target again today...no good deals looking forward to the Worlds Fair items to go down though

no good deals at our JCP OH well, I spent 2 hours in Old Navy lolol

omg was our Target wiped out!!! From 3 aisles of clearance down to 2 endcaps in less than 24 hours!!!!! I got some boys Cheeroke polo shirts for $1.74, but other than that, no deals I refuse to accept that shopping season is over....the withdrawls are horrible!!!

do they mark down their toys at all??

looks like I'll be stopping at JCP's right after Old Navy tomorrow!

OH OH OH!!! I was able to use that OxiClean free starter kit coupon at Target today too! That was a nice score!

As far as SCHOLASTIC goes, I'm sure they mean registered homeschoolers as per their book clubs....I'm a homeschooler and I buy from their book clubs all the time Now, don't flame me cause I totally agree with parents working with their kids...I was about "this close" to homeschooling before with all the work I was doing with my kids If you go to the web site, you might be able to do some searching and join a 'sign up' and click on special events, sales, etc

just got back from PH Michigan Target....ok, so between 4pm yesterday and 1pm today they went from 30% to 75% and all the items I have been checking on daily were gone I know...I know...it's a game of chance I did get Scene It Jr for $7...only cause I hid one and it was still there lol The ONE Insect robot thing was gone of course, I did get one Superman laptop for $12 and the inflato suit for $3 and a few stocking stuffer type items The Science kits were NOT marked down here and there were NO good clothing markdowns either bummer oh ya, I also got that New Years party kit for $2...I KNEW if I waited long enough I'd probably be able to score that one

We used Turbo Tax for years, but 2 years ago we ended up being audited because we had higher charitable donations and medical deductions than most people. Thank goodness I am very good at saving receipts, etc, but it was an awful experience. Top the high medical expenses with 1 direct sales job and part of the year with babysitting money coming from the state (I sell a direct sales product and did babysitting for a friend), my dh also works in another city so the local taxes are messed up, along with the recent audit and we are a bit 'gun shy' about doing our own this year (next year for sure since I will have no babysitting state money and probably no direct sales money) And for the record, I agree that paying for rapid refund is awful...I won't do it, I'll wait 2 months for my check if need be...my bil though will pay whatever to get his money NOW there are no local preparers that I know of (ok, one, but he ended up costing a bunch of people a bunch of money a few years back...so I have no idea if he's still in business), the lady at HR that did ours has been there for about 10 years...but last year we got a gift certificate to have ours done for FREE!!! So I'm ok with paying to have ours done, but I was really hoping to find SOME sort of discount

going back today....crossing fingers, toes, legs...need more deals!!!!

The only discounts I can find this year are for new customers...we had them do our taxes last year, so we're not new anymore anyone have any other discount codes?
