Last year I drove by our Best Buy on Thanksgiving morning at around 5am on my way to Meijer to get their Thanksgiving Day deals...there were already at LEAST 50 people in line....this was THANKSGIVING MORNING, a full 24 hours before Black Friday even started It really does depend on your area and what deals you are hoping for...we went to best buy about 1 hour after it opened on BF and they had NONE of the deals left...including the smaller deals that you might think would be there...nada

I've tried to order one before too and was always denied...this time it SEEMS to have gone through...silly since I have one that is just over and hour and a half away, close enough where if I got the catty I'd probably shop there, but without the catty, no way will I drive that distance we'll see if it comes...

I'm so mad. There is a big sign in the clearance aisle of the toy section in our Target that says 75% or more off. There is a TON of stuff there that is 15-50% off, very few that is 75. I called a manager over cause there are 2 clearance items in the section, right under the 75% off sign that weren't ringing up at 75% off. He argued with me that the sign says as marked, but I said it says 75% off the original price...there were jogging strollers there and a bunch of other stuff that obviously was put in the wrong place. All I wanted were 2 spiderman dress up suits at the signage price. He took the sign down and told me end of problem and no way was I getting the suits at 75% off. I should mention that these suits already have clearance stickers on them, but for 30%, not 75%, so it's not like I took regular priced items over there and wanted the price changed. I didn't move them, they were already there. My two kids were there too and I couldn't get them for them cause I needed to buy 2 and I can't afford them at 15-30% (can't remember now which it was, but it wasn't 75). GRRRRRRRRRRRRR funny thing is I was there to do a secret shop as well....oh how I wish this incident could be reflected in my report, but that's not what I was there to observe. If he would have been nicer about it or listened to me I wouldn't be so mad, but he acted like he was 4 years old and was snotty about it.

I made it to ours tonite and the toy section was so picked over that it looked like the store was going out of business! I did manage to get the dance dvd/game for $7** and the skateboard/pogo stick thing (purple with yellow balls?) for $4** everything else was either girlie or way young for my boys

wouldn't you know it....after checking the store EVERY DAY for the last week, TODAY things are marked down and my car is in the shop... sigh...I guess I don't really NEED anything....

just got back and patio was to 75%, but almost nothing left toys still at 30%

just got back and our patio stuff is still at 50% and most of it is gone

50% in Fort Gratiot MI too did NOT get that 66 page flyer/coupon DID get the $11 bissel! more teacher/school stuff out at our Dollar Spot (although a BUNCH of what was there a few days ago was already all gone)

the boys jeans that have been on clearance for about $10 were down to $3.48!!!!!! I stocked up!

I shop year round and have been waiting and planning and saving for BF too! I was disappointed with a bunch of the sales last year, so I'm basically doing all my shopping now and BF will be 'extra or icing' type gifts

I'm counting on you guys to help with good deals since I don't work at Target anymore. It's awful knowing that I don't get a heads up on clearance deals anymore. Ugh. WHATTTT????? :eyepoppin COS, you were OUR 'in' at Target.....lol

hopefully this is an ok place to post this... in the dollar spot yesterday I found a TON of awesome stuff for school (I homeschool, but there are things classroom teachers can use as well as parents preparing for homework) teacher plan books counters write on/wipe off mats with states, countries, etc work books on science, animals, math, etc math test books awards hall passes self inking stamps much more

today I went to the Fort Gratiot one, it's just north of Port Huron

oh ya, forgot....National Geographic science toys and kits were all 50% off and some of the other science kits were also 50% (or more) I homeschool, so I stocked up on those as well!

just got back from our michigan target....TONS of toy clearance! too many to list! I picked up the smaller doodle animals (dog, shark, gorilla) for 2.48 each I saw polly pockets, bratz, toddler toys, baseball stuff, games, and tons of stuff for CHEAP and 4th of July stuff was 75% off patio still 30% and what was left of dollar spot was still 50%, but mostly gone

SCORE!!!! Greatland Hammock, portable, holds up to 250 pounds, org $79.99, got it for $10.04 WOOT! (091070680) it's the red one, the blue ones are on advertised sale for $55 I think gosh, it was on top of those trampolines and they were still marked at 34** guess I should have scanned those as well! Spot also at 50% patio still 30% and FULL backpacks and stuff starting to be set out no toy clearance

Rachel Ray still 30% here...patio also at 30% I did get those leather boxes (squares and rectangles) for $4-6 each...down from $24-30 other than that, nothing good here

it was still at 30% Thursday at our store, haven't been yet this weekend but will be going today

lolol I'm all done shopping for Christmas already of course, that doesn't mean I'm actually DONE shopping....I have a whole room that's full of mostly Target clearance items for Christmas, birthdays....

I got there today as they were marking down end tables, down-like comforters, frames, sheets....it was all a mish-mash in one aisle, so I'm not sure what specific brands were being done, but the regular aisles did not have any clearance of those items...

just got back from target here in michigan ours is at 75% and the only thing left was a few of the plastic glasses...nothing matching...no coolers, no blankets, no toys and no smores maker (which I also missed out on after Christmas darn it!) oh ya, no color wonder either...bummer day

that was me that mentioned those earlier....I went to another Target and they were all still regular price! not even a first markdown
