ours doesn't have any of the BF stuff anymore....and no up-stocking for future sale....

I noticed the automatic price matching the other day...I was considering getting the Vtech and was going to PM it from TRU's ad...it was already marked down going tomorrow....will look for clearance, markdowns or 'obvious' stocking for a future sale...

he turned 11 in October his dad and I decided to put those gifts away and give them to him later on...not sure if it will be later that day, week or maybe after the new year

If Santa is a tradition in your home, then you should def talk to the cousins, etc and make them understand. 3 is very little and if this story is special to your family, you should work to keep it going. My children have never had Santa, but know the story and have helped keep the secret for their friends. They have not been traumatized by it at all.

Update....my oldest snooped this morning!!!! He did fess up and he feels really badly. Our usual rule is that anything that got peeked into gets returned, however, he found his top 3 items, and the ones I worked the hardest to get! I'm toying with what to do and came back to this thread to read some of your ideas. As I'm writing this, he's in his room writing an apology to his father and I and what he thinks we should do. I made him write down exactly what items he saw and then I told him exactly what I went through to get each item. He was in tears. I'm thinking that I will hold those items back and then give them to him later in the day, or the next day, unwrapped. I would hold them for his birthday, but that isn't until October, so almost a whole year from now those items may not even interest him anymore (and with 3 boys, we buy each of their gifts with the idea that they can be shared with all 3 of them) I think what got him the most was when I said, "I really thought I could trust you". I'm not going to 'punish' him beyond the letter and the 'parental disappointment'...but I think I do like the idea of giving them unwrapped later on.... still thinking...

Although I'm done...maybe they'll have some "oh my gosh I HAVE to have it" items.... ya...well....I think I'll wait until I see a print ad or a legit online ad... I hope they DO have some great sale...I've bought for the following year before the current Christmas before...

well the order form on my wendy's bag says CD-ROM...the freebie IN the bag was a DVD (also the pic of the game on the bag says CD-ROM) hope that helps
