  1. On Thanksgiving, I bought two 8GB iPod Touches off Amazon for $199 each, no taxes, no shipping. Black Friday, I got up at three and went on Walmart.com and bought two of the $98 TV, free shipping also. Since the laptop sold out online, I called my local Walmart (suburban store in Pittsburgh) and asked if they still had any tickets. They did. I headed over to the store with family. One got in line for the PS3, the other for the HP 17" laptop, and me for the HP 15" laptop. We got everything we came for, had an awesome time, and I'm tying this message on the HP 15" laptop right now Oddly enough it was more crowded last year than this year. Kinda surprising. Anyway, way to go Walmart
  2. I planned on buying it at Walmart but couldn't pass up the Amazon deal. It's only like a $5 difference after taxes. Plus free shipping
  3. HP 15.6" Laptop w/Intel Core i3 Processor, 4GB RAM, 500GB HD, Windows 7 Home Premium =$499.99
  4. Walmart was amazing this year; I really liked the new system. Everything was organized and pretty straight forward. All the employees were helpful and pleasant too. Needless to say, I got everything I came for
  5. Will this be available online?
  6. Standing at best buy the huge line goes on for miles I want a ticket
  7. 1.) You're going to have to walk. 2.) Why can't all bags just be black? 3.) Talk about cramming
  8. What will you be using the computer for? If you are gaming or doing graphic design, you'll probably want a dedicated graphics card.
  9. Ten teams would be selected, each team would have 3 different members. The teams would be doing different tasks each show in order to find the best deals on certain items. After an event, the team that isn't able to complete it or finds the worst deal is eliminated. Different events could be selected for each show, this is just a few different ideas: Event #1 The members would be taken to a city (based on what city the show is in) downtown to try to fill a prompt, which would be buying a list of items that are strange and hard to find at a good price. Some of the items would be easy to find, but hard to find a shocking price on (coffee for example) and others would be extremely hard to find, and there would be small room for a different price to pop up (a certain kind of wood, etc). The rules would be: -Items must be from a respectable retailer -You would only have 3 hours to complete the task -You are not allowed to leave the city or have anyone outside your group help you -Teams aren't allowed to ask for "special discounts" or say that they are on the show Event #2 This could be an event for the final two teams. Basically, they'd get to pick a city to go to, any city in the US, and will randomly be given ten items that are very hard to find in that area. Basically, they'd do the same as above, just on a smaller scale. Event 3 Yet another idea could be in the start of the show, each team would be given a list of ten items at certain prices. If the team believes that they are awesome deals and they can't beat them, they can take the list and it could be as if they found the items on their own. If not, they can turn down the list, and would have 8 hours to find a better deal on any number of the listed items. Each list would show the total savings on the items. If you go out and only get 5/10 of the items, but get better total savings than what was the worst team's list, you're in. Rules: -Once you turn down the list, it's gone, there is no going back -Same shopping rules as above -You cannot talk about what your total saving amount is with the other teams Event #4 Another cool event would be a how much for your money like thing. A number would be stated, and each team can't go over that number, and they would try to get the biggest total savings number possible. The cost of the item would be found by taking the average of all local prices. Anyway, same rules as above, and they wouldn't be allowed to get under or over the number (tax not applying). The last team wins: wins $1M, and gets to keep all of the items that they bought.
  10. Glad you guys had such great luck! Target's policy is amazing, not sure if I already posted, but I adjusted my TV that I bought there easily without any problems, it was pretty simple and the clerk was very nice about it. Anyway, thanks for all of the thank you's :)
