  1. Not usually. Most of it is too small IMO. :)

    Window decorations

No fake snow, the kids and cats mess it up in no time at all. We may put the cling things on this year, not sure yet.
  3. We used too but no longer, no. The kids will eat 'em.
  4. DH does the photos (gotta put the SLR camera and the tons of camera gear to use afterall, lol). We gotta work on them in the next two weeks, then we get them printed at Costco usually. Stick a wallet in almost every Christmas card we send out. :)
  5. Either in the dining room or the living room. Since our dining room has more space, probably in there?

    DON'T LAUGH..LOL

Hasn't happened to me either. We don't put a lot on our tree though. One strand of lights and about 25 ornaments I'd say? I was thinking of a popcorn string this year, but I am sure my toddlers would just eat it, lol.
  7. I start decorating around mid-November and the tree goes up about 3 weeks before.
  8. We always buy the presents we must mail about a month before and mail them 2-3 weeks before Christmas (we only send within the US though). :)
  9. We usually do Christmas Eve at either my parents or the IL's, and then the other persons house on Christmas. So both days. We open presents at our own house Christmas morning. :)
  10. Are you looking for sites that contain user reviews or wanting to know what electronics site to look at? Best Buy is a good electronics store. Epinions is a good consumer review site. :)

    BF withdrawal?

I actually usually feel a bit of withdrawal BEFORE BF. Mainly because I am just anxious to get out there and see what I can get (that isn't in the ads), etc. And the anxiousness gets a bit old sometimes, so I start feeling annoyed the day or two before.. but then just hours before I am excited again. :)
  12. I keep the same ringtone all year 'round.
  13. I start wrapping beginning of December. :)

    BF Survival Kit

I would have been 8.5 months along with my twins three years ago on BF. But instead I was three weeks post partum after a traumatic hospital stay.. so it didn't happen that year. I remember sitting home and browsing online instead, waiting for DH to wake.. For me - Tylenol, cup of coffee, bottle of Pepsi, nice comfy clothes and SHOES, and no stress.. haha. Oh and McD's breakfast sitting in my car, HOT, waiting for me after I am done at the last store.
  15. Then there's this. But again, not quite what you are wondering about.
  16. Wow, that is sad. Both my in-laws and my parents LOVE the kids. And while they both don't have babyproofed homes as much as we'd like.. we just stay on our toes (all of us) with the kiddos. The holidays have become that much more fun since we had our kids. No ideas for you.. I hope one day your in-laws realize how enjoyable kids are, especially when you are the Grandparent (and can give them back to the parent, lol!).

    Toys for Tots

We usually buy a couple of toys each year, put them in a gift bag (as they usually don't like them wrapped) and put them under the tree at the mall. :)
  18. BF is not BF without someone bruising me before I get done shopping. I literally look over myself that evening and find at least one bruise (usually on my arms).
  19. Woo hoo, thanks! BIL works at Costco, so we have free membership. :)

    Traveling on Bf

Last year we were at my parents house, so I only had to drive about 15 minutes to the stores. If we had been at home (in the boonies!), it would have been a 45 min drive. This year we are in a new house, so it'll be about 15 min to the first store.. then about 5 min between each one as they are all on the same strip pretty much.
  21. We're looking as well.. IL's want one and I think that may be their gift this year. Though we're looking for something around 32" probably. My parents want a big screen and have been watching Costco as they have them at good prices occasionally. :)
  22. I show up at the first store about 1.5 hours early, depending on what they have that I want/need. :)
  23. I don't know and it's driving me NUTS. My Dad is fairly easy to shop for but my Mom is NOT. Ugh.
