The one that consistently sends me good shops is: Apollo/Bai
-
Looks like you got it!

Not during the holiday season, but at other times, yes. Mainly for my coupon usage. It was always legit but some cashiers seem to think I am taking the money from their pockets or something.
-
Oooh, thank you! I am getting some $ tomorrow and was thinking about grocery shopping with it. I may do this and store the turkies in our freezer out back.
-
How many holiday cards do you send/give out? I send out around 150 every year. :)
-
Thankfully, no! My first year BF shopping I had an Accord (lots of room in the trunk and backseat, but little openings!) and I barely made it through all of my shopping that year. This year I have a van.. so I'm good.

Thanks for the info! Ross - No, no fees. LOL.

Toys R Us has one: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0009A0M1S/ Though the reviews aren't that great. Try this page as well: http://www.bizrate.com/buy/products__att296470--296471-,cat_id--14010213.html

*Some* stores have their BF deals online, others do not. I know last year, I got the DVD set from Best Buy at the BF price online at midnight. :)
-
I start around 3-4am and go until 10am. I HAVE to hit McD's for breakfast before I go home.

Right. As I said above, not much for this person who is doing it. Afterall, personal shoppers in my area make $20 an hour for the first hour and then about $10/hour after that. So if someone wants hundreds of dollars in items, that's still probably a good savings even w/ paying someone. FTR, I am not doing this.. well, not on BF. :)
-
We had a sub to cable but still needed an antenna at times as we were SO FAR out in the country, lol.
-
Well, I wouldn't pay someone to get the one item I want. Point was, I just want one item, so I actually will have time on BF without stressing over other items probably.
-
Call of Duty 2 for the PC at Best Buy. :)
-
Well, what someone would charge wouldn't be an obscene amount. Also, I would think this would be of interest to people shopping for hundreds of dollars worth of items.. not just a couple $50 items or something. :)

I think a nice feature of the GP system would be for us to be able to give GP's anonymously. Personally, I'd just like to "gift" someone without them knowing who did it.
-
I see nothing wrong with this at all! Personally, I HATE shopping for myself, so I don't do it. :)
-
I thought about that, but so far there's only one item out of all of the ads (thus far) that appeals to me. What would you pay for someone to do this? I know *some* people don't enjoy it (though I know a lot of us here do!).

The "Personal Shopping" thread made me think of this.. You know how people hire others to run their errands? What if you hired someone (or someone hired you) to do their BF shopping? Can you imagine what you could charge the person to deal with the stress of THEIR shopping? Hmm.. ideas are hitting me suddenly about this. I already know there is stuff on BF that I want.. but hiring out my BF shopping services sounds more entertaining.
-
That is actually illegal and most stores know it, so try not to use that tactic (to the OP). There are restrictions on what all you can deny charges for, so your CC company may not allow it when you explain why you are doing it.
-
It depends on what the item is as to if they care if it's opened or not. If it is something you can put back in the box and it looks fine, no problem. But if it's shrink wrapped, has stickers closing it, etc and you can't get it looking like before you purchased it - they have been known to give hard times over those.
-
I talk to people if they look friendly. If not, I try to find a place to sit (this is why I wear jeans on this day.. they can withstand my sitting on the ground if needed). I usually just listen to others' conversations. :)

Does Fry's PM? Where did you buy yours? DH got one to run a CoD2 server at least, but he still doesn't have his own of course.. I wonder if he can wait until BF..
