  1. I also have been getting free Kindle books from my library. With popular ones, I have to wait for it, but I have so many other books already on my Kindle, it doesn't matter to me since it's free.
  2. There are tons of free books out there - I have found if I type in the search box from my Kindle - FREE - I get the most stuff. You have to weed through it cause it also picks up the books that have Free in the title. I have found tons of games and books to pass the time by. Amazon also lists the top 100 free Kindle books on their website. It's over on the right hand side of the page about halfway down. There are 2 tabs. 1 is top paid and 1 is top free. You don't have o be on your Kindle to get the book, it automatically sends it to your registered Kindle.
  3. I do the same thing. I have a file folder with receipts and the packaging that says "lifetime warranty". I have had stuff replaced years after I bought it.
  4. my CVS had the mini cupcake maker at full price. I did find a coffee maker for 75% off marked down to 4.99, but I didn't need it.
  5. Check your receipts. I bought a snowman night light which was supposed to be 75% off. I got charged full price. Thank goodness Big Lots isn't far from me!
  6. Well one of the Christmas things I scanned at the ECB machine scanned 75% off, but at the register it scanned full price. And the CVS I went to had about 10 2009 ornaments on the shelves!
  7. I did this yesterday and it was super easy. They told me that I could use the coupons any time before they expired, I just had to have the receipt that they gave me when they recycled the movies and issued me the coupons. DD20 wants the Fast & Furious series and they have most of them marked down to 9.99, which makes the blu ray 4.99 with the coupon. My BB has it super easy as they have tags on all the blu rays they have on sale for 9.99. They also have some blu rays on sale for 7.99, and you can't use the coupon for those.
  8. You can try Best Buy - their "liberal holiday return" policy expires tomorrow.
  9. DIY Network posted to their FB page that they use this site. If you click on the link in their FB page, it gives you a button to request an invite from them. http://pinterest.com/diynetwork/
  10. They probably did, but more than likely are sold out in store by now.
  11. Thanks for the notice. I always forget about Big Lots. I went last night and picked up a few things. Their food gifts sign said 50% off but what I got actually rang up 75% off!
  12. I have to go back and check the gifts again. The CVS I went to last night had NONE of their gifts marked on sale at all. I scanned a few of them and they were 50% off, but I'll have to go back and check the ones listed above to see if they are 75%.
  13. that makes me laugh .. but the BIG question .. how much was it marked down?
  14. I think it totally sucked that they did double points twice in that same week. I had already entered the ones I had around the house. And I was NOT going to dig into the wrapped Disney DVDs to get the ones I already had under the tree. Thanks for the code. I didn't see it in the newsletter that I got.
  15. I don't think you can currently buy Little Mermaid .. isn't it back in the vault? Here are the titles that are in the promo
  16. duh .. I must be thinking of another movie then. Don't forget that certain Disney movies come with a code to get up to $12 of movie cash to see Beauty and the Best in 3D.
  17. I think it's slated to be re-released soon with the 3D this year. Which means a coupon from Disney
  18. woohoo .. I have a stack of DVDs getting ready to go to Goodwill. Any idea when the coupons expire?
  19. I love that this has over 1900 views! and this tree only weighs 1 pound???
  20. Did you ever find one? I was in my Kroger today and they had all the months - when before Christmas they only had the oct/nov/dec.
  21. You've never needed to show the ad. They are suppose to take your word for it - it's been that way for a few years.
  22. I just want to know how they can ship merchandise to fill the store shelves - but can't fill their online orders. that to me makes no sense. I had a DVD on backorder for almost a month! But was finally able to switch it to instore pickup this week.
  23. well at least Best Buy doesn't charge you until they ship the item.
  24. I've been lucky this year and got everything that was shipped to me. I've been not so lucky before. I mean I get mail for other people in my mailbox, so I know that mistakes happen. You'd think that if a package was delivered in error to a neighbor, they'd bring it to you - right?
