  1. you actually don't have to have the ad. Walmarts PM policy states you just have to tell there where it's cheaper and for how much.
  2. snagged one. Thanks!
  3. We have a SuperWalmart which means it is open all day Thursday. You literally have to figure out the 1 thing you want and get in line for it. Stinks if you are shopping solo. But looking at the map - they put the Playstation deal next to the beer and wine. Hhhhmmmm ...
  4. While I love the map - I hate that I can only get 1 of their doorbuster items. I can't wait in line for a TV and the Xbox deal. Why Best Buy is looking better since I can get tickets for all their doorbusters.
  5. Okay so all the ads say not valid on Black Friday - November 25th. But the toys sale starts on November 24th. Anyone going to try and see if they get Walmart to price protect on say the Xbox Kinnect bundle if they put it out early?? Or for that matter - the games and some of the cheap DVDs?
  6. I have a need for that TV .. well DD20 does anyway. She has to work until 11pm on Wednesday and plans on going over to Best Buy when she gets off work. If there are alot of folks in line she plans on hanging it up and coming home. We would then head to Wally World Thursday afternoon to get one of their TVs and the XBox/Kinnect deal. This would be her first camping out on BF! I am sooo proud.
  7. Wow great deal! I have an older TomTom and the map update alone is like $50.
  8. Another question - if I have some of these DVDs on my wish list, will I get an email from Amazon to let me know they are on sale?
  9. Those are normally gone within 2 minutes of them pulling the wrapper off the pallet. And I'm sure that the crowd around the pallet won't let you take that many. I'd call your local WM and speak the manager and tell him your situation and see if you can work something out.
  10. DVDs and Video games mostly.
  11. DD17 wanted some too but didn't want to pay the price. She found a pair in the same style at Payless for less than $20.00. She loves them!
  12. Target has the ones that the feet are like slippers. They had sock money and penguin ones for adults .. they were adorable! http://img2.targetimg2.com/wcsstore/TargetSAS//img/p/13/67/13672109_265x265_pad.jpg
  13. Target has adult footie jammies too. Saw them last weekend.
  14. My kids have always had 2 lists. A mom list and an everyone else list. The everyone else list has things on it that are less than $20 since we never know how much the person wants to spend. I feel the person that asks for gift ideas doesn't really know the person they are buying the gift for and I'd rather let them know of something that I want/need instead of having them guess or give me a gift card. But that's just me! But that's just me.
  15. I've been in and out of Best Buy on BF in less than 20 minutes before. As long as you don't want a ticketed item, you can grab and go and get in and out easily.
  16. Did anyone catch the show New Girl last night? They all went to the midnight opening of Best Buy for Black Friday!!!
  17. when you click on the link - the price is $265.00. Then give it a minute and the price jumps to 379.99.
  18. hopeky94 is correct. You can use RR to buy a DIFFERENT item that gives you RR - but if you use RR to pay for the SAME RR item, you will not get a new RR. Just be careful like Tink says if you are using coupons and redeeming RR. You can only have the same number of paper coupons (doesn't matter if RR or manu) that you have items on that transaction. So make sure you have cheap filler items in your cart!
  19. The MIR keeps people out of their store - so they really don't have the crowds that the other stores have.
  20. Well at least get there by 9pm to watch the Harry Potter movie in the parking lot!
  21. Don't be afraid to ask people to bring a dish especially if its family. I wouldn't expect to show up at my sister's house and not bring something. If you are doing it Christmas eve and are afraid to cook your turkey then order one. Grocery stores are open normally until 6pm on 12/24 so you can pick it up that day. Turkeys aren't that hard to cook but they are scary!
  22. I always tell my kids .. spend your money on you not me. I'd love a book of homemade coupons for stuff for us to d together or for them to do things for me. Mowing the lawn, afternoon at the movies .. stuff like that. I'm about your moms age and I love stuff like that. Money doesn't need to be spent on gifts ... time together is sometimes the best!!
  23. And I would bet that Staples uses BF as a "special event". But also their policy is that they may call to see if the store has it in stock. To be sure - I'd call them cause you'd save yourself alot of time. If they do you don't even have to wait until BF - you could buy it any day next week and go in and get the difference.
  24. Since they show that item as being on sale until Saturday, I would think that they could possibly stagger the putting out of the item as to have enough to last all weekend. Maybe?
  25. Love Blue Friday!!! that's cute.
