  1. I saw on Walmart Facebook page that they will have layaway beginning August 28th - December 14 and there is a new minimum of $10 instead of $15. Eligible items include Electronics, Auto Electronics, Large Furniture, Infant Toys, Toys, Select Sporting Goods, Small Appliances, & Jewelry.
  2. You sound like me, every time I cross something off the list, I add something to the list.
  3. When I got it Target had a Cartwheel coupon for 20% off and a $5 Target coupon. Those two are separate and can be stacked. That along with a price match from Amazon and 5% redcard discount got it down to the $8 price. If you have never used the Cartwheel app it is pretty cool you clip the coupons that you want and they will scan it at checkout. So nothing to print. Also Target has mobile apps. On top of that always check to see if toy manufacturers have any coupons out. You can really get these toy prices down by doing that and price match always if you can. I got the Imaginext Rescue City for $17.99 and the Imaginext Batcave for $14.99 by doing so.
  4. I always go to the customer service desk to price match video games and they never give coupons there, so I think the coupons are only at regular registers if your not price matching.
  5. I think every year my Christmas list changes, so whether or not I like the ads depends on whats on my list this year. Toys R Us didn't have any of the things I needed, but maybe the other ones will. Cross my fingers.
  6. I was able to get two heartbreaker bows for my daughters (the blue ones) for a little over $8 each with price matching and coupons at Target.
  7. I've gotten most of my shopping done for the kids, waiting on some good deals for 3ds games. My oldest wants clothes, shoes, and accs. mostly so I still have that. Trying to get the kids shopping done before I do the grownup shopping. Then I don't really obsess so much on bargain shopping, at least not the way I do with the kids toys.
  8. I noticed most of the stuff my kids want are not in their ad, and the few things they do have on our Christmas list have already been price matched at Target for way lower than they are offering. Glad to check this one off my list of places to go, hope the other ads have something worthwhile.
  9. Does she like cooking? I got my daughter the cake pop maker from Kohls which also is a donut and cupcake maker. I don't know about your daughter but mine goes threw headphones quickly so that is always a Christmas present. This year I was thinking about wireless headphones because her cord is always tangled and it gets on my nerves, apparently it doesn't bother her though. If there's anywhere that she has been bugging you to go, setting that up for her would be great also. It seems that everyone's comments about experience gifts would be great, if she already has everything she would probably love that more.
  10. You don't have a defective unit, I have 3 of them for my kids and the usb charging on computer doesn't work. You have to plug into an outlet.
  11. I got a little more shopping done today, got the nerf rebelle heartbreaker bow for a little over $8. Its $15.99 at the store. I used the new Target cartwheel coupon app which brought it to $13.59 (15% off app coupon), then the $5 off coupon http://coupons.target.com/toys-coupons?page=2 and then my redcard debit card. Also I got Imaginext rescue city center which was $44.99, and they have two coupons for that one is $10 Target web coupon http://coupons.target.com/toys-coupons and $5 manufacturer coupon. (coupons.com) made it $29.99 plus the 5% savings from redcard. Let the deals begin!!!
  12. You have to watch TRU's so called sales because there prices are so high that it ends up not really being a deal. Best to price match and then see if you can get offer, from what I read they will price match the one you buy but for the second one that is 40% off they take that amount off first and if the ad is lower then they will price match the second one for the ad price. At least that has been my experience. I think that Target had a buy two get one free sale before, that seems like a great deal if you are in the market for a lot of games.
  13. I looked up the scribblenauts game, seems pretty cool, will definitely show kids when they get home from school. I think my son will like the unmasked version with the DC comics that just came out.
  14. Is the Disney Jr an app? If it is just a website you have access to it.
  15. I have not started yet, waiting on some deals on the 3ds xl and aside from that, no one seems to know what in the world they want for Christmas. When I ask them, they make me feel like "Mom its only September, I have plenty of time to decide." I am so not a last minute shopper, but I don't want to get them toys that they're not going to play with. I am finally learning if they don't bug me to death about, they don't really want it and its just going to collect dust in their room.
