1. In your opinion, what store had the best Black Friday ad last year (2008) and why? Target had the best Black Friday ad in my opinion because they offered a wide variety of items and restocked often 2. What would be your #1 piece of advice to someone totally new to Black Friday? GET THERE EARLY!!! You can't just walk in at the time the sale starts and expect to get the deals. 3. Besides offering great deals, what else can a store do to get you to shop there on BF? The main thing would be to have an adequate amount of the sale items and not just 2 or 3 of each item. But having enough staff to get you through the the checkout in the shortest amount of time would be GREAT!!

DS6 has been watching Barney's Christmas every day for about a month now:eek: I thought he had outgrown the Barney stage, until he came across that dvd he had misplaced;) Now that's all he wants to watch:yuck:

So for those of you in Ohio that have above ground swimming pools, what company did you buy them from and are you happy with them? How much (if you don't mind posting that info) did you pay for it and what size you have. We are "thinking" about buying one....again! We had a very nice pool that we bought from BP Pools but several years ago we decided to get rid of it because we just didn't have time to keep up with it etc and it was just becoming an eye sore. Now ds6 is old enough to enjoy a pool and we have more time to mess with it (well, I do)

My ds18 won the Rock Band 2 Bundle for the Xbox 360 with one of these. Too bad he already has it It came really quick too

I would have to miss the game;) I wait for BF all year and I'm not about to miss it for a ball game of any kind (unless of course one of my kids were playing in it)

We bought MJ last year and it no longer works:shock: Only worked (about half) for about 3 months, then we couldn't get it to work anymore. Our local Radio Shack says they can't keep them in stock though:confused: My opinion...Don't waste your $$

What day do you think they will mark them down?

I had an issue with Walmart, on Monday after work I had to stop there to pick up several things. By the time I was done, it was getting late so I decided to go over to the Deli and get their 8 piece roasted chicken to take home for supper. Well, one of the store managers was standing at the Deli counter reprimanding the clerk behind the counter when I walked up. So I proceeded to look at the chicken to see which one I wanted. The manager said to me very rudely "They were all made at the same time, their ALL the SAME!" :eek:I almost told her to take my cart with over $75 worth of stuff in it and stuff it, but I didn't. As I drove home, the more I thought about it, the madder I got. I mean, the last time I checked, I was the customer and I have the right to look at and pick which food I'm going to spend my money on! So I called corporate. They referred it to the Market manager. Well, on Tuesday I got a call from a different manager at the store because the Market manager is out of town and she basically told me she spoke with that manager and she said she was just trying to be helpful. Yeah, right! I have soooo had it with that store!! Problem is, it's the only place in town to buy a lot of stuff. But I'm seriously considering driving the hour to Target once a week just so I don't have to give Walmart anymore of my money!!! Walmart is such a JOKE!

Not to mention that if you live in a small town like I do, Walmart is the ONLY option you have

Found a Grape MM for the first time ever yesterday!! Usually I just find Apple and have found 1 fruit punch. Our nearest Target is about an hour away, but when I'm in the area, I always check for MM:D A few weeks back, I found 10 Apple at once!!I was definite;y doing the happy dance for that one!!

We just bought some at Finish Line, they were 5 for $20. DH wears them to work and they hold up very well, not like the really thin ones.

I found 10 of them, 1 fruit punch and 9 apple, on Wednesday of this week. I about fell over when I saw them:eyepoppin Of course, I bought them all;) DH laughed at me for being so excited over juice boxes.

Found a LeapFrog Tag Book (Walter the Farting Dog) at my closest Target today on clearance for $6.98. Had a $5 off coupon for a Tag book, making it a GREAT deal for $1.98 plus tax!! Also got Rock Revolution for the PS3 for $13.98 for dh.

Every year my son's special needs school holds an auction to raise money for equipment and every year each class puts together a theme basket to be auctioned off. This year my son's class is doing a "Capture It" theme. Anything to do with pictures, i.e. frames, cameras, scrapbooking items, etc. What I'd really like to find is an awesome deal on a digital camera to donate. But any deals you find are appreciated!! Ideas are also welcome since I would like to find something different instead of the same old stuff (I wanna be different:D) Thanks!!

Times like these I REALLY wish I lived closer to a Target!! My kids would LOVE both of these but our nearest Target is 45min. - an hour away and I don't know when I'll make it there

Thank you for the answer :) Guess I won't be buying a tv from Costco. The only reason is because the tv we were looking at is an off brand and the exchange policy would have kept me from worrying about it breaking as soon as the manufacturers warranty expires:(

Are you sure this works with tvs? The reason I ask is because there was a tv on Costco's website we were considering because we had heard about their liberal exchange policy if something goes wrong (we don't hae a membership but were going o buy one for this) but on their website it lists tvs along with computers for 6 month return policy:confused: So we didn't buy it but would if you are correct

Did either of yours ever say In Production? Cause that's where mine is now. I'm sure it will get canceled, but I'm just curious what stage they are canceling in?
