DH and ds19 both have it and play against each other online. I, personally, am SICK :yuck:of hearing Beatles songs!!! But then again, I'm not a Beatles fan, they were before my time. And while I will admit they have some decent songs, I still DO NOT want to hear them ALL THE TIME!!! The funny thing is, I was sitting at the computer desk on the computer, which is beside his video games "set up" when he first played it and I was like "Wait a minute, the Beatles sung that? I thought it was an Aerosmith song!!!" Kinda shows my age

Our Walmart used the ticket system last year, but even with the ticket you had to stay in line.

Well, he has Down Syndrome and I choose to accommodate him rather than make it a battle (which is what it turns into when you tell him he can't change games every 15 minutes!!) And the fact that we have to load the games once he puts them in because although he is very good at playing them, he hasn't quite learned which buttons to push to load them. AND he does know how to take care of things, he's really careful with them and always puts them away, he just doesn't understand that touching them in the wrong way scratches them. It's cheaper and easier to get him a system that takes discs than to replace $60 games. Also, he likes to be able to do things himself, and this would help him be able to do that. Less complicated than the newer systems.

Conj- Why do you say the SNES and NES need more supervision and care than the N64?

I save our aluminum cans all year and when I recycle them, they go into my BF spending fund. You'd be AMAZED at how much money you can save this way Here they pay by the lb. and if you watch the prices and cash in when they are highest, you get more.

Ok, you're all going to think we are strange, but we're looking to buy ds7 either a Nintendo 64 or Super Nintendo. Have been debating on buying the Retro thingy on Buy.com that plays Nintendo and Super Nintendo games. Does anyone have it? Any opinions about it? Just worrying about having a fortune wrapped up in the games. Oh, the reason behind it is because he keeps scratching up all of the discs for the 360, ps3 and wii. Figured we could put this in his room and he could change the games himself. Less complicated for him. He's REALLY good at the games, just won't leave his hands off the discs and has trouble starting them.

The TAG is ok, my biggest complaint is that it only holds like 5 books and it seems like every time ds7 wants to play with it, the book he wants isn't loaded!! By the time we take a book off and add the one he wants, he's lost interest and moved on The new TAGs are supposed to hold more books though.

Target refused to take my $4 off TAG books coupon because it was for more than the price of the book which was $3.48. I called corporate FROM the store and they told the manager he had to take it and just adjust the price of the coupon. The manager couldn't figure out how to do it so still refused to take it. I went home and called sent an email to corporate. About a week later I received a phone call from them apologizing and they sent me a $40 gift card. They stated the manager HAD to take my coupon per Target's coupon policy.

I'm waiting for the 2009 College Futon to go clearance. Was in there on Friday and the salesman saw me looking at them and told me I should wait because they will go clearance within a couple of weeks. So if anyone sees them go clearance, PLEASE POST or PM me!!! My son just moved to go to college and he and his roommate need a couch badly!!!

Does anyone have any idea when the 2009 College stuff will go clearance?

I won't have anything left to buy if my dh and ds19 don't quit buying everything they want NOW So I guess I'm hoping to find a good deal on video games for ds7. Other than that, I don't really know yet. Got ZHU ZHU Pets already.

That's probably where he seen it then. He worked at Walmart up until this past Sunday was his last day. He's starting college.

DS19 wears a size 16 in men's and we almost always have to buy them from Eastbay.

We have 2 xbox 360s. 1 arcade that we bought on sale from Dell for $179 and then we bought a refurbished harddrive for $30. The other is an elite. Both have been sent back for the RROD. lilac100 is correct, took about 2-3 weeks to send it in and get it back. Not sure if they repaired ours or replaced since they just replace the insides and you keep the same case and serial #. DS19 said they are dropping the price of the elites soon. Not sure where he heard it, but he usually knows before they do it.

At least they let you use 1 of the coupons, they wouldn't let me use it because the coupon was for more than the book!!
