The backwards capabilities allowed the PS3 to play a majority of the PS2 games. They quit making the PS3 with backwards capabilities in order to make it cheaper and thus lower the price. I believe the 60gb is the PS3 with the largest storage capacity that has backwards capabilities. We stood in line for 36 hours on release day to get this for ds19 for Christmas when it came out. Last year he decided he wanted an Xbox 360 instead so dh bought him the Xbox 360 and got the PS3 in return. He was going to sell it

I was just going to post that. We have been offered alot of $$ for our 60gb PS3 because of it's backward capabilities. More than we paid for it originally. But dh is keeping it.

It worked in the store for me today The cashier didn't know anything about it when I asked. She said we'll try it and find out and it worked!!

Our Walmart will not budge in these cases either. I have even called the home office and was told too bad. They had put the $30 Wii games in the bin for $20. Not just one of them, but ALL OF THEM.

This deal is also available in store. I just went there and bought the $25 BB GC and $25 iTUNES gc (did that twice) and came home and placed my order using the $50 BB GCs I bought and the $20 BB GCs that were free ($10 x 2) and used PayPal to pay for the remainder which was over $100 so I will get the $20 cashback.

None of the stores around here do the Free turkey give away, but we always buy one and cook it a few days before Thanksgiving so dh and the kids have the leftovers to eat while I'm shopping on BF;) We go to my parents on T-Day

I say get a kiddie one because they are the right size for a child to be able to handle them just right.

I would tell him you are hiding them for someone else. Maybe even have someone else come to your house and pick them up. Then get them back and find a better hiding place;)

One year my monster, er I mean mother-in-law, gave my dh $100, our oldest son (younger one wasn't born yet) $75 and me a $10 (IF that) sweatshirt (UGLY) that was AT LEAST 2 sizes TOO BIG and a freebie that Kohl's gave out to the first 100 customers on BF!! I guess that was a little bit of a step up though because no matter how many times dh told his family I am allergic to body washes etc, every year that's what they would get me!! We don't even speak to his family now, so I'm in the clear;)

Are Bendaroos and Wikkisticks the same thing? My son's therapist has suggested getting Wikkisticks to use to outline the pictures he is coloring to prevent him from going outside the lines. They think it will help him get the hang of it. Any thoughts from people who have used them??

A Christmas Story!! And we watch the 24 hour marathon all day!! It's playing while I wrap the gifts on Christmas Eve and while we unwrap them on Christmas Morning. My whole family LOVES it. Hoping to visit the House where it was filmed this year. We have planned to go every year and every year, something comes up. HOPEFULLY, this will be the year we make it!! Also LOVE It's A Wonderful Life!!! Like- Elf, Jingle All The Way, Christmas Carol, Polar Express, Frosty, Rudolph, Christmas Vacation, The Grinch (both versions), All of the Santa Clause movies, and (don't laugh) any Flintstones Christmas show:)

I don't know about the Wii, but we have the Xbox 360 and we use the same Guitar Hero guitar to play RB, RB2, GH, and Lego Rockband.

DH says guitar hero guitar will work with Lego Rock Band
