  1. T-Mobile prepaid here for 3 or 4 years (after ~3 years of Cingular/AT&T prepaid) T-Mo is wayyy better IMO :)
  2. For those curious, here's an instrument compatibility matrix for all game systems for GH and RB http://www.joystiq.com/Instrument-Compatibility-Matrix/
  3. I would pass on this...many reviews are poor... the USB cord is less than a foot long, The batteries don't last too long the blue idle/charged light is really bright the silicone covers have to come off the controllers to put them in the charger remote is hard to seat in charger will not charge when the wii is off...does charge in stand-by mode tho. I have quite a few AA Ni-Mh batteries with chargers, those work great and last way longer than this is reported to on 1 charge (2-4 hours) .
  4. MC Sports has a sale on most guns and rifles now. some are $10 off, some $20 off...I think the sale is only in store. http://www.mcsports.com/category/index.jsp?categoryId=2028379&keywords=air+soft
  5. ur kidding, right? I like the lottery ticket idea...cuz ya never know...it could be a big winner:yup:
  6. ... that is the "official" stance of the USPS when interviewed... Give them whatever you want to. No one will tell. I am sure there will never was a mailman turn down some cold hard cash. Do you know for sure your mailman even likes coffee?

  9. According to CR... For fine performance and efficiency: LG WM0642H[W] , $900 Frigidaire Gallery GLTF2940F , $650, a CR bestbuy Best if your budget is tight: GE WJRE5500G[WW] , $480, a CR Bestbuy Estate ETW4400T[Q] , $400 Your Maytag was not tested, not even in the overall list of washers they had on the site. They did say that some top load washers use more water and don't always wash as well as a front loader.
  10. I sent this link to a friend, of course it wasn't available anywhere... Today he popped into a Sears Clearance Outlet looking for a rototiller attachment for his weed wacker...he noticed the arcade on display. Price on it was $1099. He asked someone to check the price online, the guy's jaw hit the floor. He kept saying "this is impossible". He even told my friend that if anyone in the store knew the thing wasn't $1099 and really was $399.99, they would have bought it.
  11. From what I've read and seen...the only difference between cheap (inexpensive) HDMI cables , and those rippoff Monster (expensive) HDMI cables....the ends. If the cable is plugged in once and never touched again, I would go with the cheap ones. With HDMI, any length under ~20 feet, all cables are basically the same. I found 1 @ a Goodwill store for $3.99. I think it was a Belkin... 10' ...hooked up the PS3 and it works great.
  12. Make sure you actually get soccer cleats and not football cleats. We made that mistake once @ a Rogan's Shoes. The box wasn't clearly labeled...soccer cleats are missing 1 cleat @ the front of the shoe, football cleats have one there.
  13. which accessories are you thinking of getting him? All we bought extra so far was a stylus (they lose them) and 1 screen protector.
  14. Here is the current online charge application from kohl's...so they have yet to update that! http://www.kohlscorporation.com/ChargeCard/Apps/POSApplication.pdf Credit Card Companies can change the interest rate on just 15 days notice (currently) ...I don't know if that applies to other terms of service. I do live in 1 of those states, and do take advantage of paying the 1/3 to avoid finance charges...I will miss that
  15. http://www.yieldingwealth.com/can-prepaid-gas-from-mygallonscom-save-you-money/ Here are the fees that you can expect to pay when you use MyGallons.com: * $29.95 annual fee for an automatic refill plan that automatically adds gallons to your account (and charges you) when your balance gets below a certain point. * $39.95 for a plan that allows you to replenish your account on your own. * $15 overdraft fee if you get more gallons than your card has left on it. (You can get reminders for when your account falls below 15 gallons.) * $1.95 reload fee when you use your card to add more gallons.
  16. Doesn't seem like this will work, as there are many fees that will offset most savings. I did see a report a few years ago about Minnesota fuel banks... http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/12615091/ http://www.firstfuelbank.com/
  17. We're sorry, but we were unable to complete your request.
  18. I picked up a Sandisk Sansa 8GB for $90 from Amazon for my wife...she loves it. I bought an accesory kit on eBay for $16...total of $106 for 8GB player, silicone case with armband, home and car charger, 1 scratch resistant face cover & an extra lanyard. A great bonus is the Sansa has a micro-sd slot, so you can add even more memory! I don't believe Ipods can do that. Let everyone else pay too much for the Ipods "white headphone cord"
  19. Just to clarify...by home phone lines, I meant the actual wiring from your old phone landlines in the walls of the house. I have a 2-way splitter plugged into 1 wall phone jack...1 goes to the panasonic dect, the other to the voip router. All the other regular phones(not cordless) plug into the other wall jacks. You just need to make sure you disconnect the phone company lines outside at the user end of the box. I placed a note on outside and inside of that box so some phone company tech doesn't try to reconnect me by mistake.
  20. The panasonic 6.0 works great...KX-TG1031S I actually bought a 3 pack AND a 2 pack from Sears...got all 5 for $105 ( I think) ...was cheaper than buying a 5 pack. I just turned off 1 of the answering machines so it works just as a charger, it synced perfectly. I can walk over 200 feet from the base and still make and receive calls outside the house. You can use your existing home phone lines with the voip... http://www.mi-telecom.org/distribute.html
  21. Wow, this is a flashback to my childhood. My dad always made them out of 1X2's with a "V" notched in 1 end...much lighter and easier to move around than a 2X4. I would choose a pressure treated 1X2 so it lasts.
  22. T-mobile is cheapest if it's in your area. I have 3 of them, great service for me, no problems ever...been 3 years or so since I got the 1st two phones. 10¢/minute on all cards when you have spent $100 on your account = Gold status.
  23. Wow, that's a shame... yet another reason to use a Credit Card instead of a debit Card. Here's a Canadian site for Magic jack, you may want to try that # 1.877.901.jack(5225) http://www.themagicjack.ca/ and a blog about the device http://goinglikesixty.com/2008/01/28/magic-jack-feed-back/
  24. No... Media Mail® service is a cost efficient way to mail books, sound recordings, recorded video tapes, printed music, and recorded computer-readable media (such as CDs, DVDs, and diskettes). Media Mail can not contain advertising except for incidental announcements of books. The maximum weight for Media Mail is 70 lbs. Media mail is subject to inspection... if at any point the package is opened, you will be charged postage on delivery @ the appropriate rate. Maybe you will not have to pay extra, but there is that possibility. Buy.com should know better.
